I finally see a really good quality video here, albeit later. This is exactly what I enjoy, Fusion 360 starter and distro plate on Cougar Conquer. That's my goal. Let's get to work. And you are awesome. Keep it up. Great work.
ОтветитьWhere do you get acrylic that isn’t uneven. The only acrylic I can find has over .5 mm of difference making it impossible to get the o ring channel the right depth.
ОтветитьThis tutorial was a godsend, and all the others from you guys.
Thank you
I just found out that Fusion 360 is free...
ОтветитьA distro plate would make for the perfect Fusion first project! Since drawing flat faces and then extruding them is how Fusion works, you could make one sooooooo easily! You might even be able to resin print that yourself! I've done an oil tank with integrated oil lines before, that worked a charm...
ОтветитьThank you so much!!
ОтветитьNONCEstache
ОтветитьHow do you get custom o rings without over paying? and where is the best place to get the acrylic / material to make these??
ОтветитьGood video. Thank you for it. Also have you ever used Tensol? Is for welding acrylic, it’s used in sign making for acrylic bonding that leaves no marks, I usually make a 0.5mm channel for the tensol to flow through when I don’t want it to drip down and edge when I’m using pressure to attach it
ОтветитьHello there, thanks for this video. I build my first custom loop ever and am thinking of making a custom distribution plate after seeing your videos. I am pretty confident in my design abilities. But i would like to know if someone has any ideas about how to add a flow indicator i to the design or knows where to buy these? I would like to have pellers for my dual loops one for each loop.
ОтветитьOne of the greatest mustaches ever.
ОтветитьI am very happy to watch you guide, very useful for me and for everyone, I am so grateful for you
Ответитьthanks
Ответитьduring the first distro plate, i cant extrude the seal area it selects everything but the middle cannot figure out what im doing wrong
Ответитьbrilliant video champion!!!!!!
ОтветитьHi Alex, when i thread mill the g1/4 threads they are to small i used the same settings like you did do you know how to fix this Grt ben
ОтветитьWe have a 2.2mm oring channel - he writes 2mm xD . Good job man, nice tutorial.. :)
ОтветитьThank you so much for this insightful tutorial! Helped me so much!
Off to making my first acrylic reservoir, wish me luck!
P.s. I spray water to cool my bit tip
What I don't get is how do you pick o-ring for these?
ОтветитьI love this video.
ОтветитьGood video very very nice beautiful in the videos good luck Great all so much meet
ОтветитьIs there a place to find 3D models of cases? An OBJ or STL I can drop in fusion to design the water district plate.
ОтветитьOh Jesus I’m so late but I have a question to ask, is it better to laser cut everything then put them together to form a pc case or try to 3D print a 3D case :00 also! What materials would you recommend?
ОтветитьWhen you are doing all of these distro plates how do you know what hole pattern you are mounting it to (when dealing with customers)? Do you pull that off that manufacturer site or have them ship you the case? I'm looking at a new corsair case and am wanting to make a custom water cooling system for it, but can't find a lot of information for interior mounting...
ОтветитьThank you I learnt a lot about Fusion 360 that I had never used before.
ОтветитьAwesome video, thank you for going slow and really demonstrating the basics without confusing the noob brain with complex patterns. Can you please tell me what CNC machine you use, what machine you recommend for a hobbyist and also is there such a machine that combines acrylic cnc machining with laser cutting and etching? Great video, thank you.
ОтветитьDammit, I wanted to see this video - but that mustache just ruined my chances of focusing on anything else.
Ответитьhow much would you charge to make one for someone?
ОтветитьWhen you make a design for distro plates do you work around standardised ready avaable o'ring sizes or dou you order custom made ones for your needs?
ОтветитьWhat is the CNC machine that you use?
ОтветитьWhat type of machine do you use? And whats the best affordable desktop machine For jobs like this?
Ответитьcomo faço para fazer um projeto para um Gabinete Redragon Ironhide? uma ajuda pois tentei mais programa é muito complicado
ОтветитьWhen I go to the fusion 360 website it says it's only free for students and educators.
Edit: You can still get it for 1 year free as a hobbyist, just have to download the free trial.
fusion is a pain
ОтветитьHey Alex, I lovin ur video, they are very helpfull and inspiring. However, in this video here I'm still a little confused about something. You saying you use 2mm diameter Orings and recommend a channel of the size 2.2x1.3mm^2. That is the total cross-sectional area of the channel is 2,86mm^2 and of the Oring is 3.14mm^2. Sure, it results in a high pressure on ur Oring butr doesnt that cause a offset between the two plates which u can see?
ОтветитьI just don't understand how people learn to use programs such as this.
ОтветитьGreat job! Buth, how you make O-Ring?!
ОтветитьExcellent work and content!
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure I'm doing everything you're doing, but why am I getting negative values when I offset lines in the same direction (outward) than you are?
ОтветитьIs the o-ring material Nitrile?
Ответить1 barrier to Entry for Fusion 360... Non-Compatible Operating Systems (it doesn't play nice with Linux Based OS's i.e. Debian Mint, Ubuntu &tc.)
ОтветитьHello
Thanks for amazing video!
can I know what programme and cutting machine you are using? if you can let me know?
thanks in advance from UK :)
Why is the first offset appearing in red INSIDE the geometry being selected unless I enter -1.5mm?
ОтветитьIn the Projection, how did you select all the geometry in one shot?
Ответитьhi I know this is very late but I've been looking for something like this for months, finally I found your channel and its the BEST I've ever seen and needed. Can't thank you enough for making these videos and teaching us all the details. I'm a ME student wanting to make a custom hardline pc. I have a question, how do you determine the depth and width of the o-ring groove? in the video it's 2.2mm wide and 1.3mm deep, some o-ring has recommended groove depth/width but some don't.
ОтветитьHey, thanks for your work can someone tell me where i can get the 3d models of grafic cards and mainboards etc? To plan my own case
ОтветитьHow do you get custom O-rings to match your custom design? Can you order small batches from a supplier in your design or do you buy premade o-rings of various shapes and design the sections to match the o-rings available?
Ответить
