As far as logical intuition (a process I use to make sense of our real universe) is concerned, the argument about Maxwell's Demon given here is just plain WRONG. 1) Their statement that the demon must record information about each molecule's speed and position, at which time, etc., makes no sense at all. Because...once that partition has been opened, the molecule runs through the opening, and the partition is closed... why must an information record be kept at all? The process is completed, and that molecule exists happily on one side or the other, without any more concern. 2) Energy must be used to open and close the partition... To me, THAT is the reason Maxwell's Demon fails to work. That is the answer to energy usage, not the energy "used" to erase information from a finite data storage memory bank. I once thought Professor Al-Khalili was great, now not so. Thumb down, and I will unsubscribe.

And then came the ARPANET project which enabled this electonic computers to be connected and eventually became now known as internet.. and then finally the invention of smartphones which amplified the usage of internet that we are using today..
