Question. Acrilic silicon spray or sortof called. could make in cituations like this a better solution?
ОтветитьWhy don't you subzero cool it submerged in oil for isolation?
ОтветитьIs it an LTT video without Linus dropping something? Imma have to go with no
ОтветитьOld video but relevant: Is there a low cost way to reduce the temps of intel's 13th gen CPUs in laptops, specifically the i9-3900HX (without undervolting) without the ability to edit most values through BIOS (Acer locks you out of editing a lot)?
Ответитьwhy do u have vasline in the office ?
Ответитьor just get an aio and deal with your normal heat pc
Ответитьwhy don't put this cpu inside the artificial vacuum
it's easy to test no need to use grease and other stuff
I used that AI overclocking on ASUS motherboards and got 6 ghz on 3 cores on my 13900kf. I'll play around some more but it did pretty well for an auto feature.
Ответить@18.59 - we drew 264 Amps ... Wow -- that's enough amperage to run an engine on a BC Ferry, and definitely enough to explode any LTT-Store multi-meter. Get a welder's face-shield, and body armor. This reminds me of an old British TV show -- "UXB" -- where a bomb-disposal crew in the 1970s was called-in to handle UneXploded [WW II] Bombs discovered in London.
ОтветитьSuper tight, orientation, probing, crack, thermal grease.. so many opportunities
Ответитьits crazy to see this a year later and seeing my 13900k thermal throttling 100c and still getting like 40k in cinebench with a 360 aio XD
ОтветитьCPU 1.533 5.100mhz min 34c max 88c stock by bios overclock
cinebench 15625 points 😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
omg too ❄️❄️❄️❄️ but my PC can beat you 😂😂😂😂😂
Ответитьonly me or did they not use thermal compound?
Ответитьflip the board upside down... let gravity help take moisture away....
ОтветитьWasn't the 5800x3d a faster gaming CPU than the 12900k or did I miss something?
ОтветитьNow do it direct die...
Ответитьis it just me or am i the only one that believes Linus should be in a straight jacket while doing these videos. This way he will not drop stuff all the time. LMAO
Ответитьyou guys should do it again
ОтветитьIntel agrees this is a realistic scenario, this is how they benchmark them when they say, "this generation is 20% faster."
Ответитьi no this is a year old but why not hang the bord up side down so the condensation drips down the hoses
ОтветитьBut what if you super chilled the tread ripper? 🤔
ОтветитьThis has turned into a very legit looking extreme overclocking platform, I love it. Brings back memories of people posting pictures of their phase change cooled Pentium 4s on message boards.
Ответитьno thermal paste
ОтветитьNow do this again but directly cooling the die!
ОтветитьReally Cool, . . . ( Literally ) . . . :-)
Ответить400 W over 1,5 V? That's almost 270 A 😲 Holy...
ОтветитьThreadreappers aren't faster that i9?
ОтветитьI want to daily that with 4090 perfection
ОтветитьWhy didn't they vacuum dry the whole motherboard and coat it in epoxy or something (except where the cooler block rests of course)
Condensation isn't much of an issue if the water can't reach the conductors
The 13900K can be fastest
ОтветитьMassive respect to the man, who made the cooling block in the CNC and did the homework to make this possible (on that old 8700k) - xlnt job!
Ответитьoverclock the cooler ! INSTEAD PF THE PROCESSOR. YOU NEED -25 °c LOL
ОтветитьINSTEAD OF DIELECTRIC GREASE JUST SUBMERGE ALL OF IT IN DIELECTRIC oil
Ответитьsperm
😎
you should sub zero a gpu next lol
ОтветитьBlue screen once a month on a gaming pc :)... nah dawg I get em once a day :)
Ответитьwhat im hearing is intel needs to step up its game and start making cpu's made for sub-zero.
Ответить"Is not fast for me" Me running my i5 3470 ivy bridge💀💀
Ответить$1100 doesn't mean it's good, it means it's insanely overpriced, by $1000
Ответитьwoulddnt it be easier to throw the whole thing in mineral oil?
Ответитьjust hang the mobo upside down. no problems with moisture.
ОтветитьYou really know to tackle a challenge and win. In the 1970s, Chevy produced a car named the VEGA. It had a feeble four-cylinder engine. Owners would attempt to stuff a small block V-8 under the hood. Some actually succeeded, but the VEGA needed many modifications. This proves that any DIY project, like yours, may require a massive infusion of Time, Effort, and Money.
Ответитьlmfao what kind of camera was linus trying here a year ago LOL nice aspect ratio Christopher Nolan
ОтветитьBro, I would not do something like that on such motherboard, cause if something go wrong you just lose 1100$.
Ответитьis this april fools lol
Ответитьah cool he used kneaded erasers
Ответить
