I bought a 2012 Octavia vrs and it was honestly the best car I could have chosen for that price range, the value is absolutely insane performance and comfort

Ford always had great lunch speed but i always found the 2015 the golfs always past me in the long run they didnt have the endurance to last against the golf

yea keep comparing the ST no one buys with cars everyone gets. ST manuel needs 5.7s from 0-60mph and the automatic ST needs 6.2s...are you kidding me?
No one buys a ST with automatic gearbox. GTI with automatic gearbox seems ok, but look at the drivers! :'D

I personally dont think the skoda looks good at all. I see far to many in black with taxi written on them i think. Overall the best family car here though. Especially for the price. Thought the ford would be faster though. The extra 40hp did not do anything. They really need a new hybrid rs

Having driven both the focus and the golf, take them for some cornering.. The golf is pretty good, but hands down the focus will run rings around it. For me, i taken the focus. It was so much better at driver feel and can throw it about a lot better than the golf.. Plus the golf broke down twice in the 2 week test drive. They're not very reliable. I've never had an issue with the focus 18 month in now. Never asked for a thing apart from the regular service. And I have abused it.

Skoda looks awesome plus it’s practical golf has the best performance, but I would take the focus for the manual box, and the overall handling.

It makes sense the Focus ST's automatic is crap ...ie i30N is far more superior in the gearbox

It's complete bullshit. Everything was done so that Volkswagen could win. Technical data and results are absurdly incompatible. Ford has a more powerful engine than focus golf, but somehow golf wins. false and false information has been given.

Focus ST same price as a Golf GTI obviously people with sensible heads and reliability/comfort and quality I'm mind....its the Golf.
If you like your ford's snd it's styling...then it's obviously the Focus ST.
The old torque converter in the Ford, the gearbox is sapping the power.

Skoda has 150kg more than Golf and Focus and same power😅
