Completely clueless on how to get new ilvl gear to do more content lmao... Do random queues, get seals, spend seals at seal merchant for 1900 lvl gear.. go auction house but shirt pants and rings at 1700 ilvl (cheap af 'in game currency). Legit clueless mate but yes it is a p2w game. Just atleast have a think about the systems in the game huh? Dont think you can get to 30k ilvl from quests alone. Think towards different sources of gear aside from questing aye.

The game is a rotting carcass. The devs are clowns. The content is regurgitated trash. And the classes? They are simply trashy versions of prestige classes.

Neverwinter is a long term time investment, though that doesn’t necessarily mean having to put a lot of time every week/day. There are layers of grinding and there is a lot of content for new players to experience. The faster a player wants to progress, the more time they will have to put in, just like pretty much any game. There are short comings and room for improvement, also like pretty much any game.

The premium currency (ZEN) can be obtained without personally spending money with astral diamonds (main currency) via the astral diamond exchange (the time it takes to convert depends on your platform). A player can play for free and still enjoy the game.

High iLvl (gear score) equipment is not in the ZEN market (cash shop). A lot of that equipment comes from dungeon content, crafting (mastercrafting) and completing campaigns. A player can access over three quarters of the game’s dungeon content (including end game) at level 20 via purchasing cheap equipment from the trade house (auction house) for iLvl (shirt, pants, rings, necklace and belt, mounts, companions) with astral diamond rewards from the leveling process (early in the leveling process the player is instructed to access the trade house). The player gets around 300k astral diamonds from the leveling process alone.

The game has been changed to allow new players to get right onto end game content fairly quickly, even with not having a clue what to do in said content. Around an hour or less per session can grant a player steady progress. If a player doesn’t like grinding then they probably won’t like Neverwinter.

I stopped playing way back when they removed the companion thing, I realized I had more fun playing dungeons rolling dice than with the game itself.

When they cut user generated dungeons is the point it fell off to me. They cut so much content, official and user generated all in the sake of streamlining. While also stacking one convoluted mechanic on top of another and timegating it all.

I can't get back into it nowadays. I'm completely overwhelmed by all the changes and dungeon requirements on my main toons. At the same time i find levelling completely underwhelming. There's nothing to gain from this if you don't plan to waste too many hours and money on a pretty shallow D&D experience. You're much better off looking for that in D&D Online.

I stopped playing a little after the Tiamat update, when they shut down the Gateway companion website where you could send your workers to gather Astral Diamonds.

It's a decent game, if you get passed the P2W aspect, and the lock content behind high-levels, like dungeons. The fact that they changed it, is wild to me. You can't even get a dungeon since they increased its gear ilevel requirements, across the board, like what.
