I am nearly in my 30s and now I want to be a air hostess but i am really scared especially with my dyslexia but i guess you find a way.

Airlines get the cabin crew positioning wrong. It should be the senior one who has the more difficult positions, as they are more qualified and experienced to deal with the trails and tribulations that may come, whilst the juniors should have easier positions to manage and where less things go wrong, as they will be more error prone.

I'm Australian but hoping to join and work for BA as a cabin crew in abt 4 years. Would they accept me being that I'm from down under? and ofc I know would have to relocate to the UK which I'd happily do

I passed the online assessment centre and I start training soon. I’m also 19 year old and im SHOCKED that I even passed. I didn’t know the answer to any of questions, i completely waffled. My answers were only around 30-45 seconds long and I have no work experience. I heard training is quite stressful and intense. Do they test you on swimming because I suck at it ??

Cabin crew is a fancy job - my classmate's dad was a pilot and his mum was cabin crew!! :) I could be if I don't get airsick easily. I'm better now but still don't think I could work as a cabin crew- I appreciate your smooth and calming voice

I don't see much difference between being a waiter and cabin crew. The waiter serves in a restaurant and the cabin crew serves in a plane. Both jobs serve food, drinks and doing the cleaning etc

What your base was? I applied for gatwick and didn’t know that flights don’t go out of europe. Is short haul as long haul?

I appreciate cabin crew! I flew with jet 2 honestly they were AMAZING! Considering it was my first flight to! She kept coming back to see if I was ok as I suffer with panic attacks and anxiety. She said she gave me a vodka and then come back within 10 minutes and i was asleep🤣 funny.
I salute them honestly. They risk their lives to save others and they’re so lovely. ❤️

you can't speak any languages? why did they give you a job you're not articulate you're so limited on the flights you can do

I think it's a shame BA did away with the CSD. There seemed to be the idea that the CSD sat around during the flight, doing random nothing. So not the case!
