Agreed, cracking game apart from a few bugs that (IMO) stopped it being an all-time classic

Only thing I disliked was the amount of things you had to do in the world was overwhelming, wayyyy too much to do. Also the getting the lights mission for that guy so you can get into race was the worst mission I’ve played on any game in a long time. Apart from that I loved playing through it

Playing now on PlayStation 5. 60 hours into it so far. A unique game with some control limitations, but the setting and gameplay/story is amazing. Quite enjoying it.

YES! I've done multiple playthroughs and still come back from time to time. This game is truly amazing. I was one of the first to be hyped for this game, watching every news about it, kinda felt like it was gonna be a gem, knowing Avalanche Studios past work.

Also, why didn't they include an upgraded/adjusted version of Mad Max's handling into their next games such as Rage 2 (literally has Mad Max + Doom vibes) or Just Cause 4? Would it be a copyright issue since it was coded for a WB published game? Let's say it, handling in Mad Max was far more superior than any of Avalanche's other games.

I completed this game 100% in 3 days and it was well worth it taking down camps and doing side missions was hella fun

Just played this game a few months ago and I cannot believe it wasn't more popular, it's such a great game.

I just finished Mad Max today near the end of 2023 and it is still EXCEPTIONAL. They knocked it out of the park.

I played this trough twice, some of the sections involving the Buzzards were legit creepy. A bit repetitive, but still a very solid game.

Best in this game is it let you enjoy the game and not let rush like you must complete lower part missionz to get to upper part

I played metal gear solid 5 and loved the desert environment and then I saw mad max and knew I had to have it. It's not a game I come back to very often but it was very fun the first time I played it.

One of my favorite games ever made. I wish it got more respect put on its name. A sequel using the Nemesis system technology would be so amazing for the setting

The cause of the apocalypse in Mad Max was the scarcity of oil, which ballooned into everything else (rioting, unchecked criminal activity, etc) happening all at once, including the mentioned nuclear war.

This is a game me and a friend still talk about. How it should have gotten more or been modded to the moon. I've replayed this game dozens of times.

I recorded Mad Max: Road Warrior off of TV in the 80s using VHS so needless to say I'm way into the world. Fury Road was an excellent follow-up and I only just discovered this game 2 months ago! Like holy shit, this game is super fucking awesome!

I had been playing it on PC but it's only $4.99 on PS5 right now :)

great game. some gripes. felt like the devs didn’t fully understand the character of Max and I hated Chum Bucket and the spear gun et al. ok a third. couldn’t we just upgrade his dub shot gun and not use that fallout 4 shit weapon? the chases could have been so much better on straight roads. felt anticlimactic to keep being knocked out of caravan raids.

the Mad Max game was a far better Mad Max story than Fury Road

Yes this is a great game! I loved it when it came out and was surprised with how good it was that it didn’t get a sequel. Still pretty upset it never did.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. It has not only great combat but great driving mechanics too. LOVE IT.

Loved this game so much! Great melee fights, awesome car battles, convincing physics, and great graphics. I only wish Max had managed to save Hope and Grace, even if he had to send them away to be cared for by someone else. To the game's credit, that was an unexpected twist, but it was too much of a let down after all that intense fighting.

One thing i enjoyed the most is they managed to make a post apocalyptic waste land beautiful. I know its not filled with details as much as fallout 4 but the thing is fallout 4 makes me feel kinda sick after playing few hours. But this gives me a vibe for its atmosphere more like Red dead redemption.
