When Z was poor lol
ОтветитьThe auto captions write "stock price" when you say "stop price", maybe enunciating a bit differently would correct that?? It is most likely the EMPHASIS you put in the word.
ОтветитьSomeone that can finally explain this in a way that makes it easier to understand. Thanks
Ответитьthis is perfect, i have been missing allot of trade setups knowing when a good entry is, but just, missing the entry time because i wasn't online or i was too slow executing the order using this kind of order should help fix that problem for me, thanks for confirming that it is what i thought it was :)
ОтветитьVery late coming to watch this , but I am already a subscriber for some time and like your videos. This was a fantastically detailed presentation with superb explanation as to the various and very nuanced trading positions a person can be faced with in this tumultuous market place. For example, extremely volatile micro caps and day trading versus scalping and much more predictable Big cap stocks where you would take a far different approach. Thanks again.
ОтветитьQuit with the big words !!!! Keep it simple….
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThank you so much for the clear demonstration.
Ответитьhi! so are stop limit orders more appropriate to use when a stock is going down, or can it be used when you anticipate a stock to go up? if im expecting it to rise to $1 for example could I set the limit price for $1 and the stop price for 1.1?
ОтветитьI never fully understood how the stop price (trigger) and the stop limit price related to each other and what to set each price to. This is the first video I found that explained that. Thanks!
ОтветитьGood explanation. Thank you.
ОтветитьWell done.
ОтветитьI've been watching so many videos about stop limit and stop order. This is the best explaination that I'd fully understand how it works, thanks 🙏
ОтветитьYeah but you fail to explain Pre and AH trading.. and STOP LIMIT order do not ext during those time.
ОтветитьIf a stop is triggered, but doesn't reach the limit, what happens?
ОтветитьThank you for breaking it down like that!
ОтветитьYou are an excellent teacher!!!
ОтветитьIn this video you said stop limit orders are not executed in extended hours; what if the stock opens at a way lower price the next day market opens? what happens to the stop limit order?
Ответитьi use notion for me and my team. super smooth and accessible anywhere.
ОтветитьGreatly appreciate this information! Im learning crucial information from you. Thank you!
Ответитьawesome vid! thx!
ОтветитьThanks so much. I should have done a stop limit on my NIO when I bought in at $52, I could of bought back in at a significantly better price. I will not be making that mistake again,
ОтветитьLoved this. Simified, thanks.
ОтветитьThx
ОтветитьSo glad I found your channel. Great content explained simple w/o a lot of fluff. Love that you are using ThinkorSwim. I am also. It's not the easiest but has great tools👊🏽
ОтветитьSTP was 18.o5 and then you entered stop limit to 1800, which mean you expect this stock to go up then you decide when to sell, is that right?
ОтветитьI needed this and will save and watch again. Thank you!
ОтветитьBig time useful information, thank you!
Ответитьhum i don't have stop limits on any of my stocks, is that crazy ? got smoked on nikola, didn't set one because diamond hands etc
ОтветитьThis was so helpful! Thank you! :)
ОтветитьThank you 😊
ОтветитьGreat explanation. I look forward for the TRAILING STOP video
ОтветитьI wish I was doing this 2 months ago, could t have saved my gains instead of bag holding lol great video as always
ОтветитьSo good. I've been trying to figure out limit buy and limit sells for ETH around the very frequent (this week) 3% swings up and down every 3 hours or so. Today though ETH has gone up a lot. I'd have been better doing nothing and staying in the position. I like your ratio idea.
ОтветитьAre you still holding VGAC?
ОтветитьYou are the man. Thank you for all of the knowledge that you share brother!
ОтветитьVery helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I needed!! Thank you so much for explaining this so well. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
ОтветитьSo do you buy limit order first, monitor until it got bought, then set stop limit order? That's a 3 step process.. How about buy limit, then set sell stop limit and sell limit a single order?
ОтветитьVery well explained.
ОтветитьGood vid, thanks.
ОтветитьSo say in the position with MARA it runs up above your price target. Do you have any recommendations for how to efficiently take profit when you don't really know what to expect and are just letting a stock play its run out? Is that where trailing stops come in? Or do you have certain rules that you follow?
Appreciate the knowledge as always!
I can see stop limit orders being useful on really volatile spiky stocks or cryptos. But normally I just use stop losses without a limit.
ОтветитьSo why would anyone ever use a stop loss instead of stop limit
ОтветитьGreat information! Thank you!
ОтветитьHow will they work if there’s a gap?
Ответить
