It is a very interesting experience to take stills with a "cine" camera. Using a cine lens for stills is also funny. One thing not to scoff at though is the inbuilt ND filters in the BMP6K Pro.
ОтветитьI love blackmagic so I brought their camera for stills and some video. Surprise and yes I found out what you did but hanging in there. Your video help confirm what I found and showed me some work arounds! Thanks much!
ОтветитьAwesome pix 😁❤ what's that lens ? Sigma 18 35?
ОтветитьGreat video! It really helped bring clarity for me on this querstion.
Ответитьwood
ОтветитьWhat software were you using on the laptop in the field to preview the photos, and did you shoot in 4k ProRes or 6k RAW?
ОтветитьFantastic videos man! Which diffusion filter did you use when you filmed you guys sitting on the couch? Looks incredible! Thanks man!
ОтветитьI've got some good photos out of mine.
Ответитьthese came out pretty dope! what do you use/do for color grading? love the colors on these.
ОтветитьGreat video dude!
ОтветитьIs there any way to preview your photos without an external device yet?
ОтветитьGreat job! The video you was taken by what camera?
ОтветитьWhat lenses did you use - looks Rad!!
ОтветитьFire your autofocus.
ОтветитьUnless the rolling shutter is improved in still mode, I just don’t see the point. Just shoot short motion clips and get in camera review, and superior temporal noise reduction when you need it. Anyway good vid, I enjoyed watching
ОтветитьNice video!
Which camera did you use to shoot this video??
I have the camera, this is exactly the experiment I was looking for. Thanks for creating this. Based on the result, is this a camera would you use for a still project?
ОтветитьAwesome photos! Nice work!
Ответитьbrabo demais my brother!!!
ОтветитьI recently tried this because of this video and surprisingly it worked like a charm.
ОтветитьThis is awesome man! I always use my Lumix S5 for photos but have frequently thought about how my bmpcc 6k would do. Cool to see you out there creating with this great camera. Keep It up 🤟
ОтветитьYou mentioned the post workflow being difficult, what made it hard?
The stills come out as CDNG files don't they so surely those are easy to edit in Lightroom and provide a lot of latitude.
I'm actually using my bmpcc4k often to shoot a still for a thumbnail while shooting my videos. The quality and especially the colors are amazing. Thanks for the great video
ОтветитьThe button is so small and u should press it hard ,when I brought it I try to use it several times but after that I never use it again .
ОтветитьWhat settings did you use?
ОтветитьThe definitely need to update it preview stills. If they can add gyro previewing should be a easy feat. Hopefully the right person/people see this
ОтветитьStoked to be the first sponsor! First of many 👀
ОтветитьI love everything about your aesthetic. What the filter on the A-roll? Is that like cinebloom
ОтветитьThanks man. I was looking for this video a month ago and it didn’t exist yet 😂.
ОтветитьWhat's the lens that Josh is talking about?
Ответитьcongrats on the first sponsor
ОтветитьA very capable camera!! It can be used for BTS shots or reference at a scene. Always loved bmpcc
ОтветитьIt'd be great to take more stills with my BMPCC6k but the stills button is so unreliable, I usually have to press it 2-4 times before a still is actually taken and even after that there's only a small indication on the HUD that shows it was taken, which means I can't get rid of the HUD to see the whole frame.
Ответитьwhich shutter angle do u keep with and also hard to push the bottom
ОтветитьLet’s go baby!!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Ответитьanamorphic photos that I got using the Sirui 1.33x and the Pocket 4k were so so so good. Hated the workflow but the end result was rad.
ОтветитьThose came out dope!!🔥
ОтветитьLove the pumpkin photos! So cute!!
ОтветитьSOOOO FUN
ОтветитьThat's SOOO jank you can't preview photos on camera 🤣
