I hate it when people trying to make simple DIY improvised tool guides/jigs/ holders using more expensive tools like an electric planer, belt grinder, lathe, etc...

"Made from scrap wood" but you need a full on woodworking shop to build it... Would be easier/cheaper to just buy a jig.

Cool idea, but without a drill press, cutting a straight hole for linear rod is near impossible.

You'd probably want to use shorter springs in order to be able to sink the drill for thicker material, just my $0.02...

These "DIY" videos are cool and so, but most people don't have these tools to make such precision cuts and measures.

So, basically, it should be "Do It Someone Else".

Good idea to keep the gloves on as your fingernails in previous videos freak me out!!
