Install Windows 10 in UEFI Mode

Turn off csm (legacy boot option) is the key, or some systems will not boot in uefi, and probably install the windows in mbr mode, then u cant boot it using an nvme, cause nvme only boots in uefi and uefi only works with gpt partition mode, so, just turn off csm (legacy boot mode) while installing the windows, and remember to set the boot driver option to uefi

Thanks my pc is unsable no solution. windows installation disk is gone after deleting disk 0 now windows don't update nor boot just wanted simple uefi installation 🥺 bootable pendrive refuse to connect search installation disk and worst part i cannot complaint cause this is all online and there's never garuntee.

Do you unplug the USB after the first restart? I kept it in last time and it went into new installation cycle... so if I remove the USB after first restart, it should boot into HDD itself and finish the installation/first launch?

My window10 is installed in SDD. Can l remove my HDD to save my files. Then install windows 10. Will it work? Please reply Asap.

I had to reinstall Windows 10 on a 2014 Dell laptop, it came from factory with windows installed in UEFI mode, the problem is it won't enter boot menu using F12 or setup using F2, but after switching to legacy mode, F2 and F12 started working again... is that behavior normal? thanks.

I have freedos install all 1 partition. And on second it's windows 10 in lagacy mode. And 3rd is system reserve. And 4th is for other stuff.

How can I switch to UEFI? How to uninstall freedos?

I have no general Udisk..I have 2 options in UEFI boot and fast one is lan onboard ipv4 nd 2nd one is lan onboard ipv6....so what can i do now??
