When I hear these sounds, my heart is going to jump faster

Never ever put the sounds of kid's coughs in these kinds of sound montages! The sound is just painful to listen to, and makes you wonder why the person recorded them, and then put online, rather than give the poor kid some medicine (which I hope the parents eventually did).

tbh when I hear people cough it either makes me feel uncomfortable or make me feel like I was going to pee myself

I'm using this to help me prepare to be focused during my final school exams because people sniffling and coughing really pisses me off even tho i know its natural and i do it myself

My misophonia is pretty severe, but it's only sniffing and clearing the throat. My sister constantly always has a runny nose and a sore throat, and it REALLY REALLY REALLT REALLY IRRITATES ME. I WANT TO JUST SCREAM AT HER SO LOUD I CANNOT EXPRESS MY ANGER IN WORDS. If she clears her throat, it's probably worse. She sometimes does it extra times a day just to annoy me because i can tell that she doesn't have any mucus or phlegm. Someone please help me. In fact, my paren'ts don't even think it exists so they just yell at me to getting mad at my sister. I wish they can suffer it too

I have this misophonia cause around me just make a fake clear throat . They do that for my attention ITS make me very stress . Trauma , depretion. Until now they still do that. I hope them die

Everyone here!!!! If you have misophonia you need to get the “calmer flare audio” things. They go in your ears and regulate noises to make them less triggering! This is not sponsored and I’m wearing them right now. They help a lot and I no longer want to murder anyone when they cough.

how come sounds in real life trigger me awfully but i don’t get triggered by sounds in videos? my therapist wants me to do exposure therapy to videos but it seems fruitless since i am not distressed when i listen to these.

I only did this so I could annoying my sister but now I regret it 😂😅 😅😂

stand a second of listening to this. Someone i am close to sniffles constantly and then makes throat snot clearing noises. He also eats noisily, champing away and making air inhaling noises. I hope listening to this will reduce the feelings of deep disgust i have when he does these things.

Sounds like the cough is talking to me with emotion. Constantly monitoring my thoughts and actions and responding to them whenever it feels the need to do so, stealing all of my concentration when I'm trying to do my work. You can't fool your brain so easily!

Using this for exposure therapy for health anxiety contamination ocd

In the current earthly world–these are just coughing and sneezing sounds. But in the inner world ruled and commanded by coughs and sneezes–these are more than just coughing and sneezing sounds, sounds like they are really alive and talking to you. All your attention is suddenly diverted towards the source of those sounds with your open ears automatically without your control. It's like you have an inmate anklet, meaning that you are a property of those sounds–you are enslaved by them.

You see how evil it is? After hearing those sounds you feel like hurting others making such sounds when it's not their fault at all. It literally ruins your relationship with your families and friends and you wait until you become alone. It annoys you and you want to fight it physically but you can't because those are just sounds and you would end up hurting people who didn't do anything wrong to you. When it really gets you, remember that it's not the fault of the person coughing or sneezing and those sounds have got nothing to do with the intention of the people making those sounds, he/she don't have any intention to irritate you. They're normal human beings and don't hate you.
