AMD Ryzen 5 5600G RAM Size Benchmark | 8GB vs 16GB vs 32GB

*UPDATE* Please ignore the VRAM usage on our overlay. We've done some additonal testing this morning and discovered that the sensor we use to test this was only pulling data from the VRAM and not the additional RAM usage. The 5600G is limited to 512mb VRAM, however, it does use additional system RAM to deliver better graphics and a higher frame rate and although this additional usage isn't displayed within the overlay it was still happening as an automatic background process. The other overlay read outs are all correct, it's just VRAM usage that is incorrect.

My valorant 16gb r5 5600g runs at 250 max fps average at 100-150 high settings 75hz 22' monitor.

what if i use 32gb ram and set v ram to 8gb will performance increase?

32gb only gives you more fps only in cpu intensive game like csgo, valorant. But for gpu intensive game, 32gb only 1 or 2 fps. 16gb more value for money

16gb gives you 1.5x or sometimes 2x more fps than 8gb

I've heard that 4 ranks is a bit faster than 2 ranks, no matter it is 2 or 4 sticks

Building mine on Friday. Asus B550 Tuf (plus wifi), Ryzen 5 5600g (of course), T-Force DarkZa 2x16 DDR4 3600, and a WD-Black 1TB NVME. Wrapped up in a Cooler master NR600 Master box with a Cooler Master 650watt power supply.

Hi I am Brazilian. i have some problem on my 5600g. in 1080p low 40/50 fps, in gta v 800x600 (or any other) low 30/40 fps in motion, leaves more stuttring and i'm not getting playing. I have 8gb of ram 3600hz xpg spectrix, and 2gb is dedicated to the integrated video. Sorry for the bad english( you can understand me?), can you help me?

nah... 8 giga Its ok ...I just want to play some entry games, league of legends ,counterstrike, diablo 3 on full hd hight graphics ...... 8gb is more than enought to me.

Short version: The difference between 16GB and 32GB is mostly run to run variances (including instances where performance dipped by running 32GB), the important thing is not having just eight gigs of RAM in 2021, please join the rest of the class of 2014

So there’s this thing called digital storm lynx and the only one I have a 0.0001 percent chance of getting has only one 8 gig stick of ram with it and it’s $900
