Rdr 1 n 2 are some of the most boring games I've ever played in my life the myths are cool but the gameplay is slog to get through.

I think The Strange Man IS God, but his physical form is the first man John ever killed. In RDR2 John says to Herbert Moon how familiar The Strange Man was “but not quite sure where”

The Strange Man inherently knows what will happen to John but The Strange Man tests John about morality to see if he deserves a spot in heaven for intrinsically being a good man or a bad man. It’s a testament to the gang’s downfall a product to fate too. John’s family always escape unscathed in every life threatening situation through both games until the very end - noted as that Marston luck. I think John was a subject to prophecy as much as Arthur was subject to the Valentine Curse.

There's so many big and small Easter eggs in RDR2 that tbh I don't believe all of them have been found entirely and even at that if they are then they're still fun af to go back and see, RDR2 just hit every note right in terms of an amazing game!

I believe that the stranger mission and the way they live leads to them to go crazy over time and they turn to nightfolk but thats just an observation. You missed a part about Herbert moon and the strange man. From a note you can loot from Herbert you can find out that he made a deal with the strange man to be immune to the virus but never be happy, as to why he is so grumpy in rdr1. Not to be rude, just wanted to point it out

I was up in near the hill house area at some point, at I think it was that area. As I riding my horse and red dots popped up right, a bunch of wolves attacked, but at the same time I saw a naked man running off, I killed the wolves and thought nothing of it, but now I think I had an encounter with the wolf man without realizing lol

Honestly bro, Red dead redemption is far better than GTA. All around. They just didn't support RDR2 online very well but even online mode is arguably better than GTA online. It's just that GTA is older so it has had a dedicated following for longer. If Red Dead Redemption had just as many successful games as GTA, Red Dead would be more popular, make more money, and have more players. It's too good. They really need to expand on the Red Dead franchise, if it takes a long time between games I don't mind it at all. Sure the waiting sucks but just imagine if RDR2 has another year or two in the oven... We'd probably get a slightly coherent story, a longer prologue and epilogue including the blackwater massacre, as well as a long (or at least better) Chapter 5 and more side missions, and more content in New Austin. Also Red Dead Online would be HUGE.
