English Grammar: When NOT to use an article – 9 rules

Hello, TeacherI read the following text in a school English book but I think the definite article must not be used with the uncountable noun 'creativity': (last sentence)

"Failure is not the end. Rather, it may be the first step to tge world of success. This is proven by the experiences of many geniuses abd inventors. Although failure interefered with their way in the early days of their lives, it didn't discourage them from reaching the top. Effort and creativity make their success stories a mark in the human creativity."

I’m confused about when to switch “that” to “which” when he was explaining rule number 8. The rule is very clear but this switching of “when to that” is bit confusing.

Actually, rules 8 and 9 look much simpler than the other ones, because the other rules have so much exceptions that it's just easier to remember them case by case than trying to memorize strange exceptions with exceptions for exceptions inside exceptions =)
