Paul is honestly one of my all time favorite musicians and human beings

They were good friends, until Michael Jackson out bid Paul for the rights to all the Beatles music. I dont think they ever spoke again.

It's true that their solo work show more of each of their personalities, you should try certain songs from George (the quiet one) to see how outgoing he can be, like 'This song', 'Blow away' or 'Crackerbox Palace' to name a few.

This video is easily one of my most cherished videos from the 80s. Videos from back then almost seemed like a movie piece. So much more went into making these videos back then. Limited on tech compared to now I think they did great. Awesome reaction!👍

every time I hear this song or watch this video I remember what Michael Jackson did to Paul McCartney. Sir Paul was trying to be a mentor to him and told him that one way he could get a head was to buy the rights to other artists music. not too far down the road, Michael Jackson bought the rights to the entire Beatles catalog, outbidding Paul McCartney for the rights. Not long after that Michael Jackson allowed Beatles songs to be used in commercials. Heartbreaking.

During their time together doing this video, Michael asked Paul for some financial advice. Paul suggested that he should invest in the music industry. Oops, Michael purchased the “Beatles” entire catalog.

I BEG of you to watch the movie Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Picture it, a musical from 1978, with The Bee Gees and Peter Frampton with a bevvy of the hottest artists of the 70s covering The Beatles tunes. I was 8 when it came out and I own the DVD. The soundtrack is phenomenal. It's also a favorite of my daughters.

Just wanted to say I met Paul many times at his father’s house and he and Linda were the nicest people you could want to meet. I think Paul is very bright & had he not been one of the Beatles he would have succeeded in whatever profession he chose. He was to denounce Alan Klein & although that split the Beatles two years later they admitted Paul was right. I’m so glad he and John made their peace before John’s murder. I think this broke him, luckily he had Linda to give him a reason to come back.
