we must be fighting different guys because I am always slowed and terror builds up constantly no matter.

This is the worst mini boss in the game because you have to farm items to fight him. Things like this give fromsoftware a bad wrap because they essentially just waste your time and aren’t fun.

I get slow when he comes near me, and because of this i am unable to get behind him. can someone explain how he can walk normally?

You definitely make this look much easier than it actually is. But great advice. Thank you. It definitely helps me to jump on his head without locking on to get behind him to. Especially when he already is doing that sweeping attack. It was 50% 2 step demon and 50% jumping over. Thank you.

I'm assuming this was done in console, on PC the 2 step demonic shuffle will probably have me headless, dickless and ballless

i just love farming for hours for a limited resources because i literally cant progress without it

I tried this, I guess its been patched out cause all he did was ATTACK continuously. Kept doing the spin attack that looks like a sweep. I just kept getting hit, couldn't engage the "shuffle" cause he kept attacking. Regardless of the location, when NEAR him, he just kept the sweep/swing thing and I kept dying...lol...might be me just suckin but, he just KEEPS attacking so, IDK.

The two step demonic shuffle really did it for me. Thank you man this move enabled me to finish my two remaining headless.

I can deflect every god damn hit trying to fight this thing and I’ll still get terror. It doesn’t matter what buffs I use, by the end of a long string of attacks even with perfect parry’s I end up with terror. So if he does one god damn combo I’m basically effed. This is the stupidest boss I think I have fought in these games, the ubderwater one comes in close second. Why make some dumb ass boss that ignores all the other fight mechanics in the game up to this point? I could square up on the god damn guardian ape and parry all his shit and not get hit, corrupted monk couldn’t touch me, but the god damn bullshit headless in the forbidden woods is seriously the bane of my existence. It’s the only headless that I can’t seem to make a dent in. I can use every buff recommended and be doing perfect and then a long string of combos will just kill me. The terror thing is seriously annoying af.

Pro tip: run to a higher or lower surface if your terror meter gets too high. He doesn’t really know how to jump so he just sits there, so you can spend time losing terror
