Why do the birds get the spotted feathered look?

I have a question and I don't know where to ask it; can I make my own blood meal and bone meal from processing my organic chickens? My theory is not wasting any part of the animal and putting it back into the garden. Why buy organic blood meal and bone meal if I can make it myself?

I have dominique and Bielefelder. I enjoy them but would like to have a few birds that will go broody. What breed has a high percentage of broody hens?

I just bought some baby chick's and you guys are just monsters... well fed healthy monsters, I'll kill the shit out of all these babies if I can save some money, but I'll be sad until they are in my stomach 😢😁
