I have the titanium SUR373. It weighs nothing, looks like a baby Grand Seiko, and is far and away the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn. It’s kind of ruined other watches for me. Even though I admire the designs of many other watches, I know that if I buy them their size and weight will annoy me and I’ll go back to the SUR373. I’m both happy and sad that my watch journey has effectively ended with this watch.
ОтветитьImpressive value? Seiko?!
I have to see this! 😂
I like the design of srph31❤
Ответитьgood day sir. can you please make a review of seiko 5 snkp11k1? Thanks
ОтветитьI really wish someone in Seikos design department would change their ugly bracelets like yesterday.
I've avoided so many Seikos because the bracelet is so ugly and I don't want to buy a watch and have to buy a different bracelet straight away.
Sir kindly do the review of tje SEIKO SARX115 or SARX 117 THANKS
ОтветитьGo for Seiko 5 limited editions , they are usually limited pieces, the Bruce lee one is really nice 🤙🏻💹💹💹
ОтветитьI still can't appreciate the new Seiko logo
ОтветитьLove my Seiko SRPE55 (black version) - 👍👍👍
ОтветитьThere is a chronograph version of the SUR503 and it's pretty cool. I have it in navy blue with a gunmetal bezel surround, I think the color is EU exclusive.
ОтветитьHello Ben, love your videos. Very informative and worthwhile. I was recently watching a few of your older videos and noticed your hair. Not sure if this is a sore topic but how come you decided to shave your head? Hair loss, or some other reason? Just curious, anyways, cheers!
ОтветитьThis was the first time I’ve seen a mention to the SNK366. It’s one of my favorite Seikos. The SNKK87K1 is another hidden gem.
ОтветитьI think Seiko should stop making cheap watches and sell only high quality watches.
ОтветитьSeiko no longer has anything to do with value, anything less than 1k USD they offer is the most rattly cheap piece of ***. Go to a store and test it out, if you think otherwise, try a Swiss brand as a comparison.
ОтветитьGreat video Ben, top notch. I though I'm going to see Seiko Avenue 8M26-7030 (or 8M26-600A) being mentioned. It has a good built quality with lots of functions with a low pricetag.
ОтветитьWhy does almost everyone not mention the Seiko Prospex SNE573P1 or the Prospex SNE569P1 which are brilliant 38.5mm dive watches, with solar, saphire, 200m, brilliant build quality. I have both and no issues with misallignment. Amazing value for money.
ОтветитьWow. Great finds esp the blue field watch w orange highlights and the Ti chrono at the end.
ОтветитьHey Ben, any idea where I can find the SUR319? I'm in the UK and can't see it anywhere!
ОтветитьSRPK01…no King Turtle on the list?
Ответить@BensWatchClub❤Hello mate! Just wanted to say thank you. Believe or not, your content is top tier in this industry! Keep up the good work mate ✊
ОтветитьSeiko SRPB41, Thank me later✌️
ОтветитьSUR503 is an underrated one. Very cool dial, but I wish it had a 38 mm version.
ОтветитьSo many watches here I don't even know where to start 😅
I'll just make the comment that I think the lack of a consistent design language is something that hurts Seiko as a brand. What's more, I think they actually do have a design language (4 o'clock crowns, curvy cases, broad lug widths come to mind), but they make so much stuff aside from that, that you almost can't recognize a seiko unless you read the dial text. There are watches in this video that look a lot like citizens or casios.
I hope they won't make the same mistake with Grand Seiko.
Also, f hardlex. Get it together, Seiko: Use sapphire on everything above, say, $US100.
ОтветитьHot take: Seiko would be much more appealing if they drastically reduced the number of models. Love or hate Rolex, everyone knows what a Daytona is or a Skydweller or a Submariner. Nobody has the slightest idea what 99% of the random Seiko reference numbers are; many of the nicer models are JDM-only (or otherwise artificially geofenced); and (one presumes) producing a smaller number of SKUs would allow proper QA (e.g., chapter-ring alignment).
ОтветитьAmazing list too bad you said "SNX sux" so I unsubbed - all jokes aside Ben great tier list and yes I will forever be undoubtedly biased when it comes to the SNX line - simply the best looking and wearing watch I have ever owned - for a daily/dress this IS the best watch in the world and nothing beats it - buy it wear it never regret it :P
Great video Ben love these budget-beast vid's a true foundational buildingblock of this channel and a subject you rule completely!!!
I only have 2 seiko's. First the snzg 42mm beige, and secondly the seiko skx011j1 orange boy. Both of them are made in japan.
ОтветитьOne of my top 3 favored watches in my collection would be my srpc85k1. I would be all-in on Seiko if they would switch over to sapphire crystals. Shame on them for using Hardlex Mineral.
ОтветитьI just don't understand the love affair with Seikos. I have a few... but I truly think they are overrated.
ОтветитьRIDGE RACER TYPE 4!!! Haha the soundtrack is phenomenal indeed. “Your Vibe” is my favorite.
I have a SNK375 which is pretty much the same watch as SNK371 but with a black dial and red 20 minute track. It’s my favorite watch
My next watch is a San Martin. I'm sick of the Seiko prices.
ОтветитьQuite a few there to explore, agree about SNKXS(77 in my case) comes with hardlex which scratches, replaced with double domed sapphire looks fabulous and the dial really pops.
ОтветитьI bought the snk361 a year ago and it's just such a great little watch
ОтветитьI've been wearing an SRPJ85. It's a 24 hour dial field watch, almost identical to the SRPG27 but with a smaller 36mm case. They seem to making a 36mm variant of the Aviator style field watch as well. I like it, if it was lost or stolen I'd buy another.
ОтветитьI got a silver SUR447P1 for work and it has sapphire glass. Really low profile and works well with a NATO strap. I'd rather have sapphire over a generic auto movement.
ОтветитьLove my Seiko SKA791! I switched the band for a metal band instead of the leather. It changed the look and feel of the watch a lot!
ОтветитьAwesome video...Great lost and really appreciate the time and effort this took...wow! I'll be showering the list to get a few picks and the sponsor sire is a game changer. Honorable mention should go to the SSB413P1 amazing dial, quartz chrono, 10bar WR and less than £200...honeslty wait to you see the dial....😊
ОтветитьWhew! This was a big piece of work. Nice job!
Ответить"better low light performance" is the most understated description the lume of the SNZG. This watch is one of the best lumed watches on the planet - period. And was the best lumed watch in my collection, regardless of price, style or origin, no watch i had or have comes even close to the SNZG lume.
ОтветитьIn my experience, Kinetics are fine if you plan on wearing it every single second of your life, otherwise they are worrisome to say the least. I wish SEIKO would just drop kinetics altogether, since there are several much better ways to drive a watch.
ОтветитьSome great choices (like I need another Seiko) 😂
ОтветитьThe SNKL23 was my first automatic watch, my wife bought it for me for our wedding when we didn’t have much money. Even though my collection has grown considerably with much more expensive watches it’s still my favorite and most special. Truly is an incredible watch, even though I might be biased due to sentimental value.
ОтветитьSUR series is a hidden jem. I have the 307. 40mm, silver sunburst dial, sapphire crystal, 100m wr. Paid $120 usd. Bracelet isn’t great but it has 20mm lug width and looks good on almost every strap.
ОтветитьSeiko is great value for the money but I must say, i think it’s best to get just 1 or 2 seikos that you really really like and move on to other brands. Unless you are a seiko only collector of course.
