So cool! Would love to upgrade my lil bros pc with one of these
ОтветитьIll travel the 4 hours if its at the right price
ОтветитьI had a choice of making 2 new AM5 systems and decided the 200.00+ x 2 cost savings was worth it since no gaming cpu really crushes these in anything. MB, DDR5 (I got 64 gigs and 32 gigs) plus the issues with some DD5 systems made it a easy choice. Id rather have older stable system with bugs ironed out. And its been perfect on both systems with the 5600x3d. No regrets no desire for am5 in maybe 4 years yes.
ОтветитьI can say Micro Centers Formula does work. I went there and had ZERO intention of buying anything but the bundle deal same with others that went with me. Once you are there you will get caught up in the fun hype and banter with other people. I ended up getting extra ram, case, power supply that were not on sale. I knew that i could get them maybe a few dollars cheaper but it was worth the price of admission and I would much rather support Micro Center than Amazons business model. Micro Center is fun and you are with a ton of like minded people. I had a great time there. Its worth the drive for sure great experience that can only be had in person not on the internet.
Note: If you buy the 5600 x3d in the bundle (I did so did the person with me) the chip is not 229.00 its 172.00. The motherboard of the bundle is a asus tuff 550 plus wifi II v2 that has a 2 month old bios date. Means it was built for this deal its ready to go with the 5600x3d no need to update anything.
Pretty cool project from amd for a unique item. Can buy a great pc for really cheap using this. Micro center was the clear choice. Warranty better replace with 5800x3d if stock runs out
ОтветитьAs a Canadian, it was cool when you mentioned MemoryExpress. I love going there to get my PC stuff here in Canada. :) I live in Edmonton and there are TWO locations in my city alone! I had no idea there were SO FEW Microcenters; wow! Just bought myself a Gigabyte Eagle RTX 4070 OC, an i5 13600K, a Gigabyte Aorus FO48U 48" OLED 4K 120hz gaming monitor, and a Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Elite AX DDR4 motherboard. Nothing INSANE, but there was NO WAY I was going to spend literally 2X the amount of money to upgrade to a 4080 or 4090 with a 13900K. Absolutely NO CHANCE. But all that said, I'm upgrading from a B360M motherboard, a GTX 1650 Super OC, and an i5 9400F. LOL. The upgrade has been absolutely MIND-BLOWING. <3 It's fun upgrading one's computer only once every 4-to-5 years; because the upgrade in that amount of time is massive. Upgrading after a year or two is hardly worth it (in my personal opinion). I also just upgraded my smartphone like 6 months ago from an S8, to an S22Ultra, lol... Love your content, Jay! (PS. The 1650 Super had 4GB of ram, and the 4070 has 12GB ram. The upgrade has been substantial.)
ОтветитьMicrocenter needs to put a store near me. Perhaps over near State College PA, lots of well off college kids over there to buy computers and parts.
Ответитьwas about the thumb this down when I head the name microcenter...but this is not jay's fault. Screw microcenter
ОтветитьI’m looking at this now.. they have it on a bundle special for 329 with mobo and ram
ОтветитьThe just tells you how much AMD fails. Lol.
ОтветитьWait. Since it will be only launched at Microcentre that means it will not be avaible in Europe, right? Man, I wanted to build a new pc for my wife with this cpu...
ОтветитьPoor Jay.
AMD will hold chips for warranty. In the event they do run out, they would give you an equal or better art just like every other warranty policy.
Twice I've watched your channel this week, and twice now I've been listening about products (or giveaways) that won't be available to me living in Quebec. :p
ОтветитьSoooooooooooo this is a US-only release? Nothing for anyone outside the US?
Ответить1080p gaming 😊
ОтветитьWill buy this CPU for my friend as a birthday present because he still uses a 3600X with his RTX 3080 😂
ОтветитьThe 5600X3D is just an excuse for AMD not to lower the price of the 5800X3D...
ОтветитьSo I had a AM4 Ryzen 9 5900x and switched to LGA1700 i9 13900k and its wayyyyyy better. Intel is amazing.
ОтветитьI own several AM4 systems and am not ready to buy into the AM5 platform yet. Upgrading the systems from the 1600 processor to the 5600 is more bang for the buck than upgrading to the AM5 platform. The 5600 should last another 4-5 years and that might get me to the AM6 platform. At that point, everything will need replacing because the graphics cards will be slow, the ssds will be close to failure, the power supplies outdated and close to failure, the memory obsolete and the case fans worn out. AMD did just too good of a job with the AM4. I hope they continue with the AM5 and AM6.
ОтветитьIt is not clear whether you are advertising or promoting the product...:=(((
ОтветитьKind of proves that you can actually recycle components. Imagine how much good Apple and Samsung could do in this world.
ОтветитьToo expensive.. you can get a 5700x for cheaper
ОтветитьOne Correction, there have been 3 AMD 5000 Series which were launched together with the AM5 Plattform, for the OEM and Industrial Market. Ryzen 9 Pro 5945 ( 5900 Variant), Pro 5845 ( 5800/5700X), Pro 5645 (5600X). This Prozessors have AES-NI and other Secure Features implemented. Sadly you can't get them without a System, i am just rebuilding an old Z370 Motherboard with ECC Memory as Server and i would have preferred a 5645 over the 5600 i am going to use. But they were launched together with the AM5 plattform. With those Prozessors out there and the normal warrenties it was clear that AMD would support AM4 till 2027. One of the reason why i upgraded everything to 5000 series. Win 12 will be supported as well, thanks to those 5000 pro Series Workstations.
Ответить🤚
ОтветитьYup. No chance of getting one as the nearest microcenter is 8 hours away. If they opened one here they'd have 5 states locked up for PC stuff. There is NOTHING up here to compete with.
Ответитьmicro centre site is saying am5 $230
ОтветитьOne just opened in Indianapolis today so happy
ОтветитьAs a former microcenter manager I will say if you buy microcenters extended warranty they will make any wrongs right that being said if you buy this and it goes out there not going to downgrade you for using your warranty.
ОтветитьJay, if we´re way past AM4, is it still worth building a new asus tuf b550M pluss 2 + 5900x rig for 1500usd?
ОтветитьBeing torn between 5900x and the 5800x3d for my current platform, I hope this does well so a 5900x3d can be willed into existence.
ОтветитьSounds like a microcenter build video for this cpu launch ❤
ОтветитьWhat we need new CPUs for ?
All games seem to be shiet nowdays.
I hope for a 5900x3D❤
ОтветитьI live 2 hours from a Micro Center. Might make the trip in the near future though.
ОтветитьHey I have a Ryzen 5 1600 should I upgrade to 5800x3d or Am5 7700x i want to similar performance and am looking to stream a bit. budget is 1300-1500
ОтветитьMy wife doesn't game to much mostly indie games and 3dish games, she has a 3600 so this seems like the sweet spot for an upgrade without breaking the bank with a whole new setup.
ОтветитьWent from a 1800x on launch to a 5800x on its launch im good for a few more years.
ОтветитьBut does it come with a cpu cooler like most of AMDs 6 core chips, or not because it’s 105 watts like the 5800X3D that doesn’t come with a cpu cooler?
ОтветитьWould this be a good upgrade from my ryzen 7 2700x?
ОтветитьI hope they do the same with am5 line they did with am4 i not uppgrade my 7700x för a long
ОтветитьI’m guessing the majority of these 5600X3D dies were in fact perfectly working 5800X3D’s, only cut down to ensure good yield.
ОтветитьI am still on the am3+ socket LOL i have a amd fx 8320 4.4ghz and a sabortooth 990FX R2.0 and a nvidia geforce gtx 1650 oc asus tuf
ОтветитьAM4 just keeps on giving! Been driving the zen 5 3600 for years, so I'm m very interested. Microcenter is just 90 miles away from me!
ОтветитьWhat happens if you do not live in USA? and Want something that is Microcenter only What do you do if you live in some other part of the world, outside of North America, or maybe you live like 3 hrs north of the 49th like I do.?
Ответитьi dont care i want R3 5100X3D or 5300X3D.
ОтветитьI think this, more than anything, is a test run for AMD to see how well a 7600X3D would sell if they manufactured it. They can disguise it as silicon waste, slight cash grab, etc, but a 7600X3D is super feasible and AMD want to test the waters with their older and far more prominent platform first.
ОтветитьBuying into AM4 at this point is too late.
ОтветитьLove the videos, keep it up jay!
Ответить5600x3D ...New lower/mid range gaming king!?
ОтветитьThis sure reminds me of the 3300x CPU
Ответить
