Spot the DIFFERENCE! LG C2 vs B2 OLED with Xbox Series X

this might be dumb but are the tvs set to the same settings? or optimised because im sure if you tweaked both for a similar picture the difference would be small. I heard the c2 has only a paltry 50nits more brightness. thats like 30 percent brighter in 100 percent window but in hdr or general use I just dont know how you guys spot the difference. I just bought a B2 because of the 120hz oled tech and mainly the price 900 cad dollars. I was tempted to buy the samsung QD-OLED but for 300 more and the fact im using it as a monitor it made no sense when the sammy has text blur. I think overall I agree with the reviewers its a solid 9/10 for sure but for me its like a 9.5/10 and the only two things i wish for would be substantially brighter like say 1500nits and QD-OLed tech. this is not possible yet but at least I have a target for what will replace this tv in 7 years

The C2 is 10% brighter and has two more hdmi2.1 ports. It's also considerably more expensive. Price per value, B2 edges out if you don't need more ports and don't have to fight room glare.

You can’t go wrong with either one of these tvs tbh, both great tvs

C2 looks more vibrant but it's not really worth the $1000 difference (Canadian) for the 77" model

These real world test are so helpful. I've bought a LG 65B26LA and I'm happy with it, but you can really see a difference with the vibrancy and colour depth on the C2.

If you compare B2 vs c1 or previous modèle cx B2 us very good. B2 is 350-400$ différence whit c2.

is the C2 worth the extra $400?

For gaming i see absolutely no reason to buy c2 as b2 has same features and its way cheaper now. Tested c2 but then bought b2 as it was 800e cheaper ("77) and i love it 👌🏼

Can you turn up the color and brightness a bit on the B2 to match the C2?

C2 is a winner when they compared in the same price segment more or less...
But if you have 800 euros difference ? Would you still buy the C2 ? ( if not gaming ) just earc movies with sonos : dolby atmos + one chromecast connected.
PS : I even don t really see the differenec on the video.

to be completely honest i think if you have both tvs, then no brainer c2 is better, but if you isolate them, I'd say the experience would be pretty similar. But one question, how much clarity difference is there between them considering the b2 uses a7 and c2 uses a9. I think that could be a deal breaker for me and how bad is hdr on b2? thanks for reviewing b2, techgiant.

With the new price drops the B2 is looking like a good buy at now $350 price difference.

That Miami screen shows all, c2 all day long

Not sure if you are aware of the hidden menu on the c1 maybe others choose picture in settings hover over the picture mode and press 1113111

I mean right from the jump in the beginning where you see Miami...the bottom tv looks brighter look it that one part of the sky it's a big difference

I own the cx and my next tv will be qd oled but will wait like 2 years,samsung will probably improve it till then

I agree better to future proof tech. Both look good but the more c2 would win for me. Oleds are bright enough, I've had multiple tvs and multi oleds oled wins hands down.

i watch movies in total dark. so brightness dont matter much to me. i dont game much either. i guess a1 or a2 would be good enough for me .

I'm happy with the C1 I'm not paying another £1200 just for a 15 to 20% brightness increase it's not worth it

The peak brightness on the C2 def looks nicer but honestly you’d be very happy with either.

There isn't much noticeable difference. When it comes to brightness this is the apex of the technology. I highly doubt they will push higher than this.
