why doesn't the effect of a normal Airplane wing counter this out? At a normal Wing the slow air at the bottom has more presure than the fast air on top of the wing but here it's the other way around so it should push the plane down.

This was so much fun to watch crash over and over....digging that prop INTO the ground was the best one!!!! LOL My first degree in college back in the 80's was Aeronautical Engineering. So I LOVE the stuff you do. I knew you would get this to work as the principle is very sound and why pitchers (baseball) can do what they do. I was surprised, however, that you didn't sand (scuff up) the buckets. That would (should) have made a huge difference in how well it flew. :) Thanks again!

Pretty sick, I think two motors with independent throttles and you could eventually learn to make small adjustments or a tail that can steer like airplane wings, tail might need to be wider for the latter

Instead of using buckets that are narrower on the bottom than at the top, you may want to fabricate cylinders with a consistent diameter.
