It would be a lot easier to give some to your instructions, if you didn’t have vocal fry when you speak

I wondered for years why my singing sounds so much better when sitting down and lean back, when everybody tells you to stand up.
When you told us to use the talking voice and not to try to sing i was able to recreate it within minutes.

All of my friends can sing, my bestfriends can both sing very good. I used to be aboe to sing when i was a kid but it all went away when i hit puberty. Im hoping to get better

As a male who can hit the lowest, and highest of notes, I haven’t the slightest idea how to use this ability.

I love to fucking sing. But I can't overcome to hear my voice, not in a recording, not without headphones. I can't take singing lessons because my mind won't lemme hear my voice. Like I can sing loud with headphones if the music is slightly loude than my voice but if I try to sing without headphones or any music background then I can't sing a fucking tone. How do I overcome this

What do you do if your voice is rusty/crispy here and there and naturally fuck up the notes ?

at the last 5 5 tones ah sound i strained at the last oe and after that i couldnt go higher

As a singing coach and performer of more that 27 years, you as the coach, should really sing in tune. You intonation is terrible!!!

You tout that this is your first singing lesson however no technique or actual lesson application is demonstrated. You haven't proven to anyone watching that you can sing or teach anyone else to. This is just another "click bait" how to video that doesn't demonstrate how to do anything. It's like watching a video on how to play guitar when all you do is describe the instrument and how it works but never SHOW anyone how to play the instrument. And to be sure, there are MANY REAL vocal coaches out there that do not TEACH anything they sell courses that ad up to nothing but a waste of money and put the student right back where they started. The exercises you teach are not really results exercises, but once again teaching what the instrument IS and not how to USE it. Open AH vowels are easiest to demonstrate with because of phonation. Demonstrate that with a more pharyngeal vowel placement such as EE and OOH and this exercise will run into trouble fast. It is easier to trick your voice into something when the task is easy. And your Nay, Nay flips into light head, no one actually "sings" in this manner. Needs to stay connected solid. And your website BASHES other vocal coaches. I know Brett Manning personally and have studied with him in person, he is actually a friend of mine. He has been teaching voice long before you were out of diapers. If I were an aspiring student, I would NEVER sign up for your stuff. You have no respect for other coaches.

not my voice breaking in between these exercises

It might be just me but I have a deep voice and sometimes even when I speak normally let alone sing, my voice just cuts off by itself and I have to clear my throat, my voice just stops working and goes mute in the middle of me saying something, it can be embarrassing when talking to people.

I was never big on clearing my throat but now I have to do it every other sentence. I hate it, and I don't know why it's happened in my mid 20s. Doesn't help that I hate hearing my own voice and I can't sing, even though I want to fix all of that.
