First off haters! Amanda was kicking ass on the tour and you probably had no idea she was only 15-17 yrs old. She then lost her dad who was her EVERYTHING. And she comes back a beautiful mature adult and beats a top 15 rank player. All I know is Amanda is never someone you take lightly. She will have many titles ahead of her.

Liudmila needs a new team but Im happy to see Amanda again figthing she has all to do a great tournament

Samsonova failed to make bloated Anisimova keep giving balls to her that Amanda did not have to move! Dumb. Either way, unfortunately become obese in terms of professional tennis player, Amanda is done, more or less with bloated body she has now! USA

Столько времени Самсонова аккуратно и вдумчиво поднималась в рейтинге. А последнее время играет небрежно, без головы, потому и сплошные ауты и ошибки. Жаль

CoCo Vandeweghe is as bad a tennis commentator as she is a tennis player. Happy for Amanda after extended inaction. She looks a little out of shape but can still hit that ball, and sometimes it's easy to forget she is still only 22! Sorry to see Liudmila go but she has been so inconsistent of late. At least she was wearing purple. That was different for her!

Amanda just beat someone ranked in the top 15 in the world, and some of you want to take the liberty to comment on her weight? Do better! This young girl just lost her father; that takes years to recover from.

Pleasantly surprised to see Amanda playing this tournament, and of course, pleasantly surprised that she looked so good winning this match. However, now that she's back, she's going to have to get herself in better shape. While there are a few player exceptions, you can't carry around that amount of weight at this level of play.
