The Best Classes & Weapon Combinations In Chivalry 2 Steam Edition

I really like the sledge hammer ( I haven’t unlocked the maul yet) but my personal favorite for vanguard is the war club, the range is super good and you can hit ppl really fast if you then your camera.

I tried the game for a couple of hours.

It has very clunky controls and the hit boxes are inconsistent...I will not play it anymore .

So is Guardian not good to run?

If you are new to the game, there are some weapons that are better than others but it really comes down to personal preference. You can take down lobbies with a burning chicken and knife if you want to. My suggestion is play shuffle for a while and get around to trying every weapon and then find classes you enjoy the play style of for me i like crusader with battle axe and mourning star, or when i get backed dane axe throwing.

how the hell do you stab through blocks just by aiming closer to their head? i literally do that all the time and its just a block anyways lmao

Crossbowman with a cudgel is undefeated

double danes are really powerful in any situation but it is harder to play vanguard in chaos of TO due to less protection from non-chop/blunt damages. personally I love polehammer heavy swings. with a little footwork or parries you can literally mow down rows of dudes at choke points. same with other high damage axes/hammers

Raider's best option to me is Dane + Messer. Feels almost unfair when you throw your Dane Axe for a free kill, and instead of being unarmed, you casually pull out the most dynamic sword in the game and go to town

"Steam Edition" is the same for Epic and console. It's not different at all.

Devastator with Warclub is highly underrated. It's basically a higher damage/faster longsword with more range against both knights and Man at arms. The only problem is the 30 on hit against other vanguard but since most vanguard weapons are already slow you can out play them with ease

IMO highland sword is not a low skill weapon, just can kill multiple enemies in some situations...
