Which software he use im digital painting? I 🙂
ОтветитьI love it, someday I will teach myself to paint
ОтветитьOMG . Really quick and nice concept work. I love pretty much the lighting did here. ❤
ОтветитьNice Gorillaz minifigure in the background
ОтветитьI also do really messy first-run sketches
'specially with landscapes though I don't do backgrounds a lot
really nice to know that it's just natural to deviate from your initial idea ^_^♥
ОтветитьWhat a charming guy. Thanks again, Proko, for bringing all these artists together to share their knowledge and insights. They are invaluable to aspiring artists just like you.
Ответитьsure this is really nice.
ОтветитьI love how this inadvertently turned into a portrait of Lemmy. Great video.
ОтветитьI'm only halfway through the video, but it just dawned on me that I'm invested in this character. I want to know more about him. This is genuinely the first time this has happened looking at a picture.
Ответить😍😍😍 I like your video 👌
Ответить"So let's make a zombie-pirate-fantasy character"
A bit later.
"It's kind of like a weird vampire uncle that you don't like to invite in but you have to because family." xD
The random lines serve (at least) three purposes: 1) your hand is moving and your brain is engaged, the creative engine is started, 2) building up structure, there's something there now, and 3) playing with pareidolia based on those suggestions.
ОтветитьThis was great
ОтветитьLooked thru comments only to find out that no one was gonna mention how he initially meant to draw a pirate and ended up drawing Legolas from Lord Of the Rings lmao
ОтветитьNot gonna lie Mister Greco does simplify a lot with his explanation & process... he makes it seem like its attainable for other ''less talented artist like me''
ОтветитьAs a bw style lover, i thank you so much for this tutorial. I never got so comfortable with colours as with grey values, so seeing this process and the result it can get really inspired me to just trust myself a bit more.
ОтветитьLove your work
I stopped drawing 3 years ago and now I wanna start so I can advance into animation especially bringing marvel and DC animation into life from comics.
But I gotta start doing anatomy and all again but thanks to your stuff, it's a boost
He started as a Elven Lemmy Kilmister and end up almost an Vampire Dutch Van der Linde
Ответитьthanks that was really fun to watch!
ОтветитьVery cool 😀
ОтветитьElf -> Pirat -> Vampire
Ответитьthank you :)
Ответитьwhen i try to be more technical in drawings they look more awful than i draw loosely
ОтветитьI can say this feels like the most art class session I've been in for a years. Right when when I think of a question in my head..theres an approach or answer..I love this style.
ОтветитьWhy he look like post melone
ОтветитьNice!
ОтветитьBadia? Que haces alli ? Esa no es tu familia!
ОтветитьMe, two weeks into the latest serious attempt at drawing: "My sketch lines are too messy. I will spend a few days on just trying to get clean sketch lines"
Pro artist: "You really just want to dive in, get this messy thing on the canvas and see where it goes from there. Maybe this is a shoulder? Maybe a bit of body? Just get it on canvas quickly."
Me: "Oh..."
Thank you so much for this. It really gave me boost to see the process of such artist . I thought i was the only one who figure things out along the way.
ОтветитьIt’s amazing! Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьMaybe that's where I keep messing up. I'm a Virgo and very 'orderly' like I feel like I should get it 'right' on the first sketch and I feel like I have to do it in A. B. C order when maybe I should approach it. I haven't been able to do a 'full' piece lately just sketching and I'm getting frustrated. I was a WoW fanartist and now trying to draw FFXIV and it's vibe is COMPLETELY different. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI freaking loved every stage that went through each part
ОтветитьDamn Dave your instruction is priceless and your work is beyond amazing! Thanks for this and proko too! 🔥🙌❤️
ОтветитьSo coool
ОтветитьThis is great, I completely get the whole messy start up and finding interesting shapes in the looseness of the initial sketch, that process for me is one of the most exciting parts of drawing a piece of artwork.
ОтветитьLike that your background in your studio space is calm. This allowed me to focus on what you are doing....
ОтветитьI really wish I could find someone like you but using pro create :(
ОтветитьHe's a beautiful space pirate vampire uncle. I love the lighting technique. Thank you so much for this tutorial
ОтветитьThis is amazing and fun to watch. Really inspired again 🥰
ОтветитьI literally just came up with a short story for this guy mid design 🙄lol
ОтветитьLove this dude’s style. That sloppy style speaks to me lol
ОтветитьI learned a few things from this.
1. don't think about what you're doing
2. don't organize your layers
3. ???
4. profit
thanks for the awsome video, i realy like your style that focus on being free and trusting your instincts!
