Dude desperately tries to get rid of ~$110 blood money, and winds up getting basically double a year's worth of (pre-tax) minimum wage in like 3 minutes.

At least it'll eventually let him largely clear his conscience later.

Once, I was talking to a casino employee, and he was explaining Craps to me, because it has the best odds for the player.
I then asked him about roulette.
He scoffed and said that it was basically like giving the casino your money, since the odds immensely favor the house, whereas in craps, you have a fair chance at walking away with money.

What an odd storyline

I really liked this side story on the series.

When I first saw this scene I knew it was a masterpiece. I didn't know why til I watched it again. And then I knew.
This is a flawlessly executed scene.

The acting. The song. The supporting characters. Perfect combo.

When he drank and then beat the guy with his belt, you can feel an enormous sadness-madness in his act.

He looked angry but he almost cried when he was leaving the flat - like “I love her but I cannot give this to her many thanks you bastard!”.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t “Blanche DuBois” a character in “A Streetcar Named Desire”?
