Brian Cox's ability to explain in a simple, clear way such complex ideas show how incredibly intelligent he is. He's one of my favorite people to listen to and reminds me so much of Carl Sagan in how passionate he is about space and humanity. Plus, they both had a kindness about them that's really pleasant.

I would just ask questions to this guy for hours lol. "Uh, can I go now?" he would politely ask.

These " scientist", are just guessing what a black hole is. The problem is they speak this as a fact. that is why all western science are unproven theories taken as fact then this becomes the basis of other theories.

Yes explain something to me that no one has ever seen & will never see. Explain how something made up can do all these magical things that you will never ever be able to prove except for a theory. Then explain how the theory isn't a theory and is fact but not real fact but fact non the less. Mathematics is a wonderful thing but doesn't always equate to what you want. But if you change the equation enough times you can get an answer your looking for. But that doesn't mean it's real now does it?

Then do the equation that proves there's a Testla Roadster at the center of the milk way galaxy.

Finally someone who says that black holes are still stars, and not some ridiculous it's a black hole in space, and we don't know where it goes. We'll, I mean it's just a dead star.

I wonder how big a black hole is relative to its original star size.

How does a star that doesn't have the mass to pull in light become so dense that it can pull in light? Where does the extra mass/weight come from?

One thing I don't understand about a black hole is this: If a black hole has this enormous gravitational effect where did the enormous mass come from? I mean prior to the star collapsing it had gravity equal to it's mass. There wasn't a enormous gravitational effect then or was there? Confused.
