True story. I was going through a phase of not being able to stay grounded. I was spacey and lightheaded. I was going off half astral. I was making myself nervous behind the wheel of the car. I was being forgetful. But at the same time other wondrous things were happening but that’s another story. Out of desperation I put a smoky quartz cluster on the ground and squatted over it, aiming it toward my root. After a few moments the smoky quartz cluster shattered into smithereens with no contact. I did become better grounded though.
