You have good enough lat strength which is obvious from the one arm pull ups and muscle ups but the front lever even though it uses lats it uses alot more abs so you need to do more shit like leg raises sit ups siccisr kicks etc

I’m sorry you’re suffering internet abuse. I’m building up my Twitter presence and although I’m happy I’m making progress on followers, I’m also starting to experience abuse. I think it’s just something I need to learn to deal with if I’m going to be on social media but frankly it’s terrifying. Best of luck to all your endeavors though!

May be you can place your hands on both edge of the pullup bar to simulate a smaller angle and move your center balance?

What if you grow out your upper muscles while kind of ignoring your legs to rebalance your body?

The maths and structural mass distribution concept is pretty cool. Almost same as structural engineering for a bridge 😅
Maths/science is cool and all, but human body is very complex and I think technology is not high enough to fully understand it yet, not until 200-500 yrs later I reckon.
I like to train by listening to my body and feelings. I'm in process trying to achieve front lever. I understand it's extremely difficult and struggle lots myself. I feel I get sore back every day 😅 but I'm enjoying the ups and down during this journey. I believe the human body will eventually adapt to this movement. My back will probably look lumpy after achieving the front lever 🤣

Your center of mass would also be your balance point. Plank on a bar and figure out roughly where you balance. Simple, but not easy.

Love your take on this! Using actual factual science instead of arguing against people who simply don't like what you say - it's the best way. Some people will always ingnore science and use their own 1 = n experience and feelings.

Keep doing what you do, you're awesome!

i agree with you. the sport chooses the athlete, not the other way around. pro crossfitters look all the same because everybody else got sieved out before and started another sport. someone who will gain muscle very easily will never be a top climber, their body is just made for something different.

by the way. you can also stretch so that your straddle is wider and your centre of mass is closer to your head

This all has to do with calculation of moment. M=r*F. Where F is the the force applied at the center of gravity and r is the distance from the fulcrum. If a system is supposed to be immobile the sum of the forces equals 0 and the sum of the moments equals 0. That is why center of mass has to be directly under the hand or you will keep spinning. Therefore if you have heavy legs or short arms there will be more of a bend at the arms causing you to have to exert more muscular force. That is basic physics. That being said, the body is quite complicated, so maybe there are adaptations at play in performing any tasks. In addition, I am not sure if his measurements about weight distribution is correct

Hi! Is the angle for back lever comparable to the front lever one, at least as an approximation? If I got full back lever can I measure that angle and use it as a reference for full front lever training, e.g. by training that angle with properly positioned resistance bands?

As a chemist I may say that besides leting you down science can also help you a little bit with growing your upper back muscles 😉. I'd have loved more depth on the maths because when It comes to biomechanics there's always a lote of nuance involved.

Wouldn't it have been a bit more accurate to measure your current straight arm pulling strength with a crane scale such that there is no angle in the pulley system? As one can see in your video of you pulling on the lat pulldown the cable comes in at a slight angle instead of perpendicular to the ground, affecting what will actually be happening if you are pulling on the rigid bar during a front lever.

Your basketball analogy sums this up perfectly, Allen iverson. Yes upper body mass would help but you dont have to put on huge amounts of mass to get alot stronger, UFpwrLifter. Youve let being smart get in the way of your ambition.

This guy is faking . There are people who can do fl who have short arms . The only difference is that you have train even harder. If you are motivated you can do it.lets take an example a barbel can be lifted easily if it is lifted from the center but you cannot lift it if you are lifting it fron the edge it is correct but if you enough strength you can lift it from the edge. This guy is not giving his all and is making excuses to demotivate others
