640 is the most clear with crisp highs (could be a good or bad thing depending on the sound you're looking for) & both tubes have a nice warm vale on the sound
ОтветитьTheir all good
ОтветитьThe 640 is actually on sale rn for 699$ rn, so imo that’s a steal.
ОтветитьThey literally all sound the same to me
Ответитьi think the 640 is where it starts to differentiate
Ответитьcan you compare this with akg xls? thank you!!
ОтветитьReally don't understand why ppl sing when it's hard to hear the difference 😩
Ответитьcan we use LCT 440 Pure in untreard home room vocal recording ??
ОтветитьWill my Lewit 040 matched pair be sufficient enough to record a 20 man choir? Or, what is the next best Lewitt option?
Ответитьবেশ ভালো
ОтветитьThe 540 is the smoothest
ОтветитьAll are so close that I don't understand why they are priced differently! Anyways I have ordered my lct 240 pro yesterday and am looking forward to great happy singing days!
ОтветитьVery nice! I like the 540 and the Tube!
ОтветитьYou’d be wise to get a real singer. What you’re doing I don’t even know what it’s called. Mimicking? Affected? Not sure but find someone who can sing properly
ОтветитьDreaming with the 440 Pure!!
ОтветитьI would get 440 (have) or the 1040.... Thos are the two price points that make sense. The flagship would be nice if I was tracking a variety of vocals all day long. Nice demo.
ОтветитьI’ve been trying to get your input. I’m replacing my tf 39 with a Lewitt mic and I’m leaning towards the 640 ts but would you say go for the pure tube? Is the 640 a better grab all the way around?
ОтветитьThe 240, 440, 540 and 640 sounds a bit harsh on the top end. However the Pure Tube and 1040 has such a smooth silky top end with depth. The Pure tube handles sibilance better than any other mic I have heard.
ОтветитьI’m just gonna say it.. your reliance on autotune ruins all your vocals in your videos. You should stop depending on it so much, I’m sure you have a great voice without it.
As a studying music producer myself, it’s grating on the ears all of your vocal in your videos being autotuned and warping your vocals, especially listening to it on all that high end gear. Just wanted to say it because I really don’t think you need to hide behind autotune when I’m sure you have a good enough voice; if you’re really that conscious about it practice more.
Sorry, just wanted to put it out there, best of luck!
❤ভালোই ❤
ОтветитьFantastic review, I love all my Lewitts! Almost exclusively using them now and am still fascinated by their variation in sound which allows me to capture anything, anytime in different situations: From Orchestras to Rock Bands, Singer Songwriters to Traditional Bands!
Ответить640 was the most notable jump in quality. The tubes nicely smoothed out mids and highs but didnt add any noticeable fidelity. That being said, the Pure Tube sounded warmer and fuller than the 1040
ОтветитьTrash
ОтветитьThe LCT 440 PURE and LCT 540 S are vastly superior to other microphones in the same price range.
ОтветитьSo jealous you got your hands on the range. Serious drooling. I have the 240 and 440. They are great as are the MTP 250 & MTP 550 dynamics. Have you tried them? Anyway thanks mate. Thoroughly enjoyable.
ОтветитьIt will be really helpful if you could review the “Universal Audio Volt 276 Studio Pack” for recording music 🥺
ОтветитьThe sound of the 1040 is just amazing
Ответить840 owner here 💯
ОтветитьHonestly listening to your voice through these microphones gives me a headache. It's harsh and overly bright.
ОтветитьHi Edward, I think you should use all comparison mic side by side at the time of recording. Because every take is different and after this singing every time with one different mic is not possible to sound same for the vocalist and also mension the audio interface settings. Your content is amazing btw. Thank You
Edit: I forgot about this also sing loud and soft in these mics. Because in soft vocals all mic sounds best but you sing loud then sometimes it's create buzzing or some high frequencies. I'm not an expert as you are. Maybe I'm wrong in some points. But these are suggestion. Your all video are very helpful. It helps us to decide a good equipments. Thank You
Love Lewitt Mics! I’ve gotten great results with the 440 Pure but it’s great to see this comparison covering a entire mic range. Thank you for such a great review!
ОтветитьIs this a promo for Lewitt Mics?
ОтветитьI think over hyped is true but still nice and wide vocal with lct 240
ОтветитьThe 840 is actually the smoothest and easiest to work with as a mix engineer
ОтветитьGreat video. I have 2x lewitt 440 pure mics, they have more highs, BUT, they are detailed and air'y, and not harsh. Great mics, love them!
ОтветитьI have the 440, my next goal is the 640
ОтветитьI'm innocent with the 1040. Gosh❤
Ответить"Hello,Sir.
I'm always watching your videos from India. I would like some suggestions, please. I am a voiceover artist and Christian vocalist. I am also an accountant. Two years ago, I decided to start my voiceover career. At that time, I didn't have knowledge about which equipment to purchase, so I bought and used a Sennheiser e835 dynamic microphone with a Mackie ProFX4v2 analog mixer. I recorded on my computer by connecting the mixer's main output to the computer's 3.5mm microphone jack.
Now, I want to improve my voiceover career, so I plan to sell my current equipment and purchase new ones. I am planning to buy the following two items, and I would like some clarification:
Is the Mackie Audio interface a good choice, or is there a better option within my budget? I only need it for voice and vocal recording.
I am confused about which condenser microphone to purchase. I am considering the Audio-Technica AT2020, Lewitt LCT 240, or LCT 440, as well as the AKG P220. Please provide a suggestion
great microphones with great sounding qualities
dope content as usual
I have LCT 240 and 440. They're fantastic. Really bright microphones
ОтветитьI like 640 & 1040
ОтветитьAs an owner of ASMR channel I can say that 1x 640TS and 2x 540S is top tier option for ASMR setup and I am saving for them :D
Extremely low self-noise and good in every situation, from voice to foley.
540S are great for nature sounds too (even though you wouldn't normally use large diaphragm condensers for that).
Now I have two 440 Pures and cannot be happier.
Perhaps a bit bright on the top end but great mics that are made from people with knowledge. They should do a shotgun mic version as well.
ОтветитьWhat's happened with 441 flex?
ОтветитьAre they giving case with the mic now? For 240 440
ОтветитьWow amazing 🎙
ОтветитьOur favorite mics at the church I work at. We have 4 540S mics for the choir and other uses, and 1 640TS for our Grand Steinway piano. We love them!
