Hello. I’m contemplating auditor position…..currently have my RHIT and CPC , so researching books and videos to be proactive. I’ve been coding for years. Any suggestions pursuing an auditor career?

For the CPMA there is a pre requisite to already have a CPC for at least 3 years I believe. I think they have it this way because it goes hand in hand and they need the experience. I am coming upon my 2nd year as a CPC and the CPMA is something I am definitely interested in probably year 4. But I will look to advance within my company since it is so large with great opportunities. I’m glad you touched on this and gave insight to the job.

I do love your knowlege and experience in Coding and now auditing, since you have experience in auditing now and some one else does not have the auditng experience depending on their experience with coding or coding certificate or certification like some one gave you a chance you should want to do the same and take a chance on someone like someone did to you, and we sometimes wonder why people are not being hired. I am not saying nothing bad and out of line to you or anything just going by what you stated, that's all but I am totally grateful for you and your experience but just from what you stated just something to think about, thank you and hope you understand my comment not giving off any not positive comments.
