ОтветитьI guess the Irish hate trees?
ОтветитьI'm 15 mins into it and no myths and legends yet, "just" history... I'm interested in that too, and might come back later for it, but right now that wasnt what I came here for. I like listening to mythology as I fall asleep. Regardless it's nice to name documentaries aptly.
I'm outta here. Thanks for your time and effort anyway!
Not for long haha
ОтветитьSo don't follow fake systems created by false narratives.
ОтветитьI always thought Celtic was only related to Ireland, until I found out my family history went back to Cornwall which is considered one of the “Celtic Nations”. Now I am very interested to learn more.
ОтветитьThese stories would be the best super hero movies ever!! I wish with all my heart these could come to a wider audience,
ОтветитьI'm truly appreciating your channel. As someone whose own history has been obscured by the shadow of slavery, the narratives of others have always held a special fascination for me. Thank you for enriching our understanding with these stories of profound depth and breadth
ОтветитьI wonder if the Brown bull of coolie is based on Grace O'malley
ОтветитьHow old is this documentary? First, all the people in those Dublin street scenes are white. Second, there are quite a few discredited ideas and memes in this video. Patrick was not from the southwest of England but from somewhere near Chester or the Wirral. More important, "the Celts" is repeatedly used as if it were a homogenous ethnic/racial group. They weren't. Celtic (like 'Germanic') is a language group not a race. Not all celtic speaking people were related and the evidence they had a common culture is tenuous and unlikely. So, a well made story but to be taken with a pinch of blarney.
ОтветитьNever underestimate the Celtic Irish pagans. They took advantage of the things that Patrick brought in (ie writing), let him think he was having his way as they saw it might be a problem if not (go read Princes of Ireland for more on that one) and still did what they bloody well wanted. 😅
ОтветитьKeep up great work
ОтветитьIreland is England's first colony? Stares in Cymraeg
ОтветитьI heard William Walice is eight feet tall and shoots fire from his arse.
ОтветитьMythologys kick ass. Thanks for the video!

Ответитьwhiskey was invented solely to keep the celts from ruling the world. and a savage world it would be, celts without whiskey? truly barbaric indeed!
ОтветитьMy Grandmother had the last name of Mayo is that from Ireland
ОтветитьOf courses Christianity had to come in and ruin everything. The only thing that was good was writing.
ОтветитьI love Celtic mythology even though I grew up in a traditional Chinese culture environment.
ОтветитьThe images used of the celts in this documentary are a farce, the Celts were tall, physically very fit and well kept unlike their usual depiction in recent times and in this documentary. We know this from the statues made after pergamon and the work of several authors from that time. They were not obese, unkempt or had bad teeth. We know from archeology, historical and isotope evidence it was quite the contrary!
ОтветитьWe will never forget The Morrigan
ОтветитьI like and studied Celtic and Druid magic, ways etc.😊
Archangel Michael
who tf is cahoolan
ОтветитьSt Patrick was sent by a filthy pope, let it be know each time Ireland was invaded a pope gave it the green light
ОтветитьChristians are evil, history proves this.
ОтветитьThis sounds more like propaganda than history. But I'm not a historian.
ОтветитьIt is sad that Christianity had to come and ruin a culture already happy.
ОтветитьDestroyed by all of the ads!!!! So sad!!!
ОтветитьThe last episode on Arthur is ripping indeed. it’s got verve and life, sadness and happiness, life both relaxed and fierce, and emotional depth. the story tellers are so good (actors who know how to convey reality of living to the listeners). brilliantly produced, narrated, written, directed, et alia. Thank you so much. :) 🏰🐎⚔️💫🤺🚩🏹👑
Ответитьthe narrator is good and the story tellers give their analyses with some emotion. is it is it Finn Mc Coul (?), his stories are very intriguing, and no wonder they have lasted so long. :) 🍀🌼🍀
ОтветитьI'm the the only either t the stone hedge my name is Lester Lee Turner Jr turnurf
ОтветитьPatrick, go to your room. Christianity, go and stand in the corner with your hands on your head and face the wall
ОтветитьFun to watch, but highly outdated information
ОтветитьAnother upload from back in the 70's ?
ОтветитьMyths and legends? Mostly history, just call it that 😶😐
ОтветитьTitled this incorrectly, all about actual and factual.
