hmmm, I would be interested in what Prof. Sinclair says about the critic of Prof. Charles Brenner?

I have been taking metformin for several years; I also use melatonin to help with sleep. Recently I have noticed that I often feel fatigued after using both the above. I then see in the literature that a side-effect for some men taking both the above is fatigue.
Furthermore, it seems metformin is believed to uncouple glycolysis and the citric acid cycle in mitochondria, which among other things, may explain such fatigue.
I am 80yrs old and take 2 x 500mg Sandoz metformin daily together with 1x2mg Melatonin Pura I recently obtained when my usual brand ran out while travelling in Italy. I intend to reduce to 1x500mg Sandoz metformin per day!
I also do weight lifting and various other exercises to counteract sarcopenia as well as regular long walks. I take many recommended anti-ageing supplements which are becoming financially difficult as my funds dwindle.
I am aware that Dr Sinclair himself mentions that metformin "inhibits" muscle building and also tissue repair though at his <80 yr age I saw recently, he apparently takes 4 a day.
To assist with muscle-growth, I take daily, recommended doses of creatine, but am concerned that uncoupling mitochondria by metformin may be detrimental to brain function as well as to muscle. Does Dr Sinclair have any advice on the relative value of taking Metformin and Melatonin for somebody who is my age?

I had heard of NMN on another podcast about a year ago.
I then dud a little research and started taking NMN. I found out it that it has changed my life for the better. My anxiety had pretty much gone away. My energy is by far more focused, and for the most part, I feel great.

I have other heath issues that dragged me down prio to NMN. I've tried many supplements and haven't had any luck, but NMN is doing wonders for me.

I have bought a year supply since places have quit selling the product.
