American prisons are SO inhumane. You're literally deprived of everything that one could say makes one feel like a human being. They literally lock you in a concrete box with NOTHING except a few books and a 14inch TV with 14 channels for YEARS. What kind of treatment is this? I don't think even someone who's committed the most heinous crime deserves a punishment like that. I understand that being a place like this could be understandable as a sort of punishment for violations while already within prison, for a temporary amount of time, like a few weeks or a month max perhaps. But to live in a place like this for years? Absolutely disgusting how America treats its prisoners. Go take a look at some videos of prisons in Europe, especially Germany or Norway if you want to see people respecting people.

How to escape, has to be raining. Remote controlled cars and weaponized drones. Tunnel network and line comms. Family of guards kidnapped. I always found it hilarious when commenters on Solitary videos boast "oh isolation? I do that all the time this is nothing."
Well it's a different story when it's FORCED isolation.
When you don't have video games, smart phones, or things like that.

I was fortunate to only have done a week in an isolation unit when I was in prison; where you still had access to books. A radio and a TV - if you were in there for over a month, or so..but no contact with another human being + only being let out 3 times a week for an hour.. it messes with your head, very quickly.

I would take having an annoying cellie over that in a heartbeat.

I spent many years in the ADX, YOU CANT KILL THE ROOSTER!! It's been tried I lasted 33 years in Federal USP And ADX. I've spent decades around the worst society has to offer, while your American government was literally lying to you all they were bringing GITMO prisoners from the battle field, CUBA. to the ADX. lots of terrorists, American such as Ted kaczynski unabomber, Ramsey Useth terrorist. Spelling???? My country man SHOEBOMBER Richard Reed. To many to name. If you can survive, avoid suicide, avoid being murdered, by guards or convicts, well then you may some day come up for air!! I did, started with 8- yrs for armed bank robbery, with in the first year (LEAVENWORTH) I picked up 2- murders,of inmates. It is vicious in there it's no boy's school!! Real men who don't take no shit off cowards who hide in the shadows, behind your phones, there's only 1- thing respected in prison VICIOUS VIOLENCE period!!

So how are the inmates supposed to rape each other?

Are there any vacancies there, would love to work in that environment

Never been incarcerated in my life so far but for me places like ADX Florence are a monumental proof of western hypocrisy. The government abolishes death penalty as it's formally considered "inhuman" just to put people inside hell holes designed specifically for infinite torture purpose... How the hell this can be legal and approved in a civilized country ?
