In my opinion, Bamboo shared a the top spot for the most sustainable and beautiful building material in the world.

In the early 90’s I stayed on a farm in costa rica that grew giant bamboo. I learned you could make so many things! The family there was really great, I often wonder how all those people are doing.

His heart's in the right place, but he's still a BS-er. Bamboo isn't the only sustainable building material on the planet! And, trained architects did not flee his project because they were afraid of beauty and grace. How childish!
They most likely left because they were afraid the design wouldn't work. I hate that kind of double-talk bullshit. It's uneccesary & from a man this age, frankly, alarming. I quit watching at that comment.

Boxes are also cheap and very strong. Truth. But absolutely beautiful shapes and bamboo surely is a wonderful and underrated (by western standards) material. In Asia bamboo scaffolding is common. Surely “CAD” could incorporate this material, as well as at least some building codes.

EVERY engineer and EVERY architect should do a year in the field of before being allowed to sit and get a license

More food for the Climate Change Brainwashed. Building with bamboo is a great idea, but it is not going to save humanity from itself. Hype.

"Escaped canada"
The ultimate truth. Our governments waste so much of our resourses. They waste the most precious resource the most!
Us. We the people. Our government should be focused on the promoting the general welfare og it's own populace. It has wasted the potential and failed to promote it's own.
Time to pay the piper. Corruption has permeated the federal government and it needs to be douched...

If we say the word Architect ..we think Male. Males like minimalism and square boxes. Not Zaha Hadid however,, She was an outstanding 'thinking outside of the box' woman. Her buildings are curved and flowing. In this modern world of HUGE population increases, it's idealistic to promote bamboo as the default material. What we can do...is allow and give more voice to female sensibilities . Rejoice the pretty, the colours and shapes of nature. Let the dance be one of grace and soft sweeps of energy.

hi! I was wondering how possible is to combine the bamboo with the straw and clay construction, I mean in the indoasia, you can build just with bamboo, the weather is more easygoing the whole year, in the western europe, the winters are harder even in the soutern, i can imagine replacing typical wood for bamboo and going with straw and clay, but so far, I havent seen both combinated, is anyone know about it?

so basically from my understanding from this video.
Current Architectures focus far too much on efficiency and effectiveness, simplicity, than, beauty, and creativity. Modern architects focus their attention too much on Functionality at the cost of beauty even if there is enough space for beauty(but nonmodernity beauty though).
