I have word docx and .pdf files of my book manuscripts. However to convert to epub/mobi etc I am told because i have unusual fonts and lots of images I have to use a 'fixed-format' system. is this right?

I wrote a book and I am having difficulty converting into an EPUB. Please can you tell me what I can do to convert my book to an EPUB.

do I have to buy the acrobat pro to do this?

Can I just upload the PDF to Kindle or paperback? Will the formatting be ok then? I had someone else do the uploading for my first book. For the 2nd I need to get the formating right the first time. Please let me known. If I convert the Word document to a PFD, aren't all photo sizes then irrelevant. They will be small enough right? Please let me know.

This video suggests saving as an EPUB but Kindle Create will only let me upload either a .doc or a .pdf. I don't have Word. Only Google Docs and Pages. Any suggestions? The formatting of bullets comes out very untidy when I export to a Word docc and then import into KC.

I have already saved my ebook onto kindle but it is untidy. I saw this video about Kindle creator and went to follow the process and that was all easy to do. But when I go to republish the new file. I receive a note to say 'unable to use format'. Any suggestipns?

Nice Video! Forgive me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you tried - Tarbbatigan ebook master Tip (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great one off product for learning how to create an ebook minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.

What about books with pictures?
