If you replace the center screw with something non conductive, and the d4iven element with a properly tuned loop, your antenna will perform much better. Alternatively, electrically isolate the driven element (one in from the back) from the rest of the design, and connect the shield to the reflector (far back element).

They used to make TV antennas with the same design, called "color laser" antennas.
That TV coax is gonna have some pretty bad losses at 2.4 Ghz. Put the USB adapter on the antenna and make a USB extender and you'll get a lot bigger gain.

I know elon now has starlink(which makes sorta a grid with the orbits) and thousands of satellites to achieve wifi for remote locations, so sorta not necessary now - though if a network was made with antennas and wifi guns every 50km and more in higher populated areas like every 500m-5km(with as many with their own modem connection as practical, rather just extending networks), it would have been hypothetically possible to create global wifi networks decades ago and rivaled wireless carriers of all sorts. Would be still crazy to make an open source volunteer based huge network.
