I love your dress. I have so many basics and your introducing these stylish pieces really do elevate a look. I found a cute flouncy dress with riffled tiers and balloon sleeves at Tuckernuck. Caveat; it’s a mini and the sun has left spots on my legs as a gift for it wearing sunscreen when I was young. The blouse makes YOU look beautiful. I can’t do oversized shoulders because my shoulders are wider than my hips, so it would make me look like an inverted triangle. Love boyfriend sporty. Have always loved loafers - regret decluttering classics years ago. And I love button downs - my comfort zone - polished but casual if you want.

I love the knits and sheer items but most runway clothes are not for me even if I could afford them. Love that you do a translation for normal folks. For the menswwear style shoes - I recommend Office by Angela Scott for those that can afford them. Yeah for leather anything and love love love the way you style them!!!!

I love that you’ve included knits in this one. I’m a knitter and make all of my own jumpers, cardigans and tops and I’m always on the lookout for what’s on trend in the shops that I can interweave into my tops. In the making world there’s separate trends that come and go that are focused on techniques and colours and yarn selections. Like silk or linen knitted tops for spring. Great to see a nod in this direction in this video 💚

Hi Erin, love your channel. Hoping you can do a video on my problem - dressing down on summer weekends. I'm 59, live in hipster Brooklyn, and am on several not-for-profit boards. We meet outdoors on the weekends at the neighborhood boutique brewery, dog run, condo rooftop garden, etc. Many people are in their 30's and 40's. I do office fashion well and also athletic wear for the gym. But, am puzzled on how to be age-appropriate in hot weather, not look "dressed up", but not look sloppy or schlubby. Thanks!

My takeaway: wear what makes you happy! I love the puff sleeve/exaggerated sleeve trend. I was thinking that I am too old for this - I am 59 - but I’ve decided I don’t care and will wear what makes me feel good. Confidence is my best accessory!
