Does sign language change over time because of changes in the way we do things? I wonder how many people wonder why the sign for 'camera' is done that way, in the same way that people don't know what the Save icon on most applications refer to.

Went to a deaf school for a few years learnt alot of sign language as some of my friends were partially/totally deaf. Recapping and relearning to teach my friend!!

Since Covid, I’ve been teaching in an ASN school and I have only ever taught in mainstream schools before. Very few kids have listening difficulties but all of them benefit from signing, and I’ve been learning from scratch. Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to start learning!
