PSA TO All players of PvZ3: Dynamic Difficulty has been confirmed to exist in PvZ3

For each loss - not give up, specifically loss - the game will remove a substantial portion of the zombies from the level until you win or use the give up feature with the reduction in zombies increasing up to 3 losses. It is a predatory tactic designed for the sole purpose of trying to convince people to buy powerups by having some levels be virtually impossible on some rng patterns without powerups later on.

Please, I implore you, do not monetarily support this sort of scummy design. If you don't believe me test it yourself, go into any level labelled "hard" or "very hard" and let yourself lose 2-3 times and you will see that as much as HALF of the normal zombies will simply be completely absent from the level, in some cases even removing the gargantuar in final wave of some levels entirely!

Its sad to see the love of PVZ die; not from the community but from the developers who seem to forget what a fun game is. They seem more focused on ways to extort the player rather than make an enjoyable experience. If you ever drop PVZ 3 no one will blame you. I just hope this game isn't as costly as PVZ 2.

Honestly, I'm probably gonna get backlash for this, but I miss the other Pvz3, or the "Clash of Clans clone", I do like the artstyle of this one, but this feels like a typical mobile game now... and the main story just feels like Garten Scapes with pvz levels...

Only ppl that read the PvZ comics know who Patrice and tugboat are.

This seriously took all that was good about pvz 1 and 2 and stripped it away. It still feels like 50 levels of a tutorial just watching it. This feels like it shouldn't be pvz3. This feels like a kid baby version of pvz with how dumb down it is. They stripped away the ability to pick our plants, forcing us to take what they set. Granted, there were some levels in pvz 2 like that, however it wasn't every level. We don't even have an almanac to see what zombies there are and what each plant does in terms of damage and health. The first version of pvz3 honestly felt like that's what it should of been in comparison to this build and the previous build. If they don't change the number 3 to something else like a kid version, this is gonna suck for popcap.

I personally think that most of this game is terribly designed, the only thing good is the art style (that's also an opinion). The gameplay is shit with the plants you use being set, there being repetitive, copy-pasted levels, and the dynamic difficulty means that, in the words of RCCH "the game is lose to win".

I got actually excited to see lightining reed! It is nice to see the story board through your channel/episodes, otherwise i wouldnt even touch the game (personaly)

A nice touch in animation would've been if when Lightning Reeds zap-to-death the pigeons that prior to falling to the ground they turned into a roasted squab or cornish game hen. But microtransaction laden EA isn't capable any longer of introducing such ingenuity.

I think the problem with this game is the lack of variety, I guess they were trying by making the plants pre set every game, but in the end, most of the plants are pretty much the same, which feels very blank with little content
