When I switched in 2012 to Ubuntu it was so cool to me that I can browse internet while system is updating kernel and GRUB, and I don't even need to rebbot after the updade right away.

updates on firefox and a lot of other application require a reboot to reflect anyways lol

You still have to reboot Linux if you want to apply the kernel updates. And some updates won’t happen until you restart some of the services and sessions, so it would sometimes be easier to just reboot anyway

You selled linux to me RIGHT NOW (haha, wait linux is free, ah okay)

You can still use the computer in both OS while it updates, even linux sometimes requires a restart after an OS update. Updates that generally dont usually require a restart are apps updates.

I would say one or the other can't be possible personally I think people should just split there partition and dual boot for maximum performance and compatability

And even if your distro reboots to update it takes, like, 2 minutes and never tries to sneak a background update behind your back

After reboot, many bug will come
