I Gave the Pixel Another Chance...

Never buy a Pixel 6 model they have major network issues widely reported since 2021 and Google admitted it yet have been claiming since 2021 the next update will fix it. All they offer is a RMA in which you likely get another phone with the same issue like me. They will verbally tell you they escalated the case and verbally tell you it got denied with no email confirmation or number so you have to just take their word for it. Many people will have the Pixel 6 and know people without the issue but many like myself do and it loses connection every single day dozens of times a day and a $50 UMX phone with the same sim cards doesn't. I've done every possible troubleshooting method 6 total sim cards 3 ATT and 3 T-Mobile all had this issue. Support is useless and many people go through 3-5 RMA's all with the issue and still no fix. Its an issue with the modem inside of it or however they designed the phone and manufactured it. It's got the Exynos 5123 chip which even at the time of release was a bad and dated chip with lots of issues. I miss extremely important Doctor calls and will have no service for up to 20 minutes at a time dozens of times a day and then get spammed with notifications when it comes back. The top 100 or so search results of troubleshooting network issues I've tried and went way beyond that. I'm manually went into debugging mode to mess with the bands I flashed different versions of android 12 and 13 along with 14 beta. There is nothing I have not tried and Google simply isn't helping. Phone should have been voluntarily recalled off the shelves and then fixed but that would cost too much for them even being owned by the 4th biggest company in the world. A phone is supposed to be able to make and receive calls and both Pixel 6's I've had including a RMA one supposedly tested by the best engineers have the exact same issue.

The bugs are still here over a year later. The biggest being the idle battery drain, its horrendous!!

I love my 6a but because of
1. The finger print reader
2. The 3.5mm headphone jack adapter still won't work for calls
3. The heat issue

Why is the camera glass busting? Lots of people are having this problem. The zoom is lousy on the camera. I wonder what would happen with the bugs if you put graphene os on it. It also watches everything we do. This is July 2023. The lens breaks a hair after the 1 yr warranty expires. Is HTC still making these?

The worst phone ever. My P6 is possessed. I cannot get rid of the voice activation. Insanity at its best. I just threw the phone away. Waste of time and money 😢😢.

I have the opposite reaction with customers. Our Pixel customers usually don't have issues but our Samsung customers have serious issues.

Pixel 6 Pro is fixed for me on A13, just make sure you factory reset after updating, works superb, some minor things are there, but won't bother me

I love my Pixel 6 Pro. I don't have any of those problems. My battery lasts 4 days.

Thanks for this. Problems with cell connectivity and bluetooth connectivity are deal breakers for sure, and yes, a buggy phone at even $400 is rubbish. I've had very low end samsung phones that behaved as it should.

I got a refurbished Pixel 6 Pro from Amazon for 366€ and so far it seems quite good. The other option was getting a 6a for 299€ but I felt like giving it a shot. I hope things have changed for the best ever since this video.

Over a year later and my 6pro is still having connectivity issues, struggle to complete a call many times and it's so frustrating, definitely first and last pixel for me

bought mine on ebay last month for $275 and I am very happy with it! Speedy, Great cam, Great for everday use, Battery is ok but overall Great Deal!

The only thing I hate on the pixel 6 pro is the side buttons why didn't they have the volume on top and the power button on the other side or a littlower

Got mine as a gift from my gf 🥰, Ive only had it for 2 days now and so far I cant complain. I know Ive only had it for a very short time but so far its been working smoothly. Cant speak on battery life but performance is fast and service is decent. Been stuck on LTE, havent been able to get 5G for some reason

I agree. I've had 3 Nexus phones, Pixel 3 & now Pixel 6pro. I had the P6P same experience (slow fingerprint, poor reception/ connectivity, bluetooth dropping, battery not lasting as long as expected, etc...) and have noticed the improvements with each update (fingerprint has significantly improved, bluetooth has improved). The camera and photos are amazing as usual & I love the UI/ layout. However this is a phone and being able to use it to make / receive calls is one of the main functions and at my home in a big city the signal is weak for all carriers. And this phone is still the weakest for connectivity with 5-10% dropped calls even with Wifi calling enabled. And recently the phone rang yet the icon to answer a call didn't even appear on the unlocked screen (it was ringing & I tried going into phone app but wound up calling back the 'missed call'). I debated on upgrading to P7P but in Canada the seasonal sale dropped price but the trade-in price for P6P was low which meant a substantial difference for another newly released phone. Thanks for returning & doing this video.

i hate buying a new phone every 2-3 years. i. hate. it. I dont mind spending 1.2k on a phone if it will last 5 years, i like to make things last, and with phones (and with tech in genera) its so frustrating.

yeah from the early days samsung pays the best is in it? during the old days still remember you promoted some of the worst phones produced by samsung,killed HTC. even some of their best phones you trashed.

All the issues he mentioned are fixed now. and fingerprint sensor is optical so you have to keep the finger on it until it unlocks the screen unlike superirior fingerprint sensor

no it is not normal to throw your phone around like an old rag and stuff it in your pack pocket because it is cool. I would think that would degrade the phone's operation. I have less respect for a reviewer who does not take care of their phone, but continues to critisize the phone's flaws. I have had a pixel 6 pro for a while and I have not experience any of those issue. I had a macbook pro for 8 years and did not get a scratch or dent on it. The normal wear and tear thing is bull. It depends on how much you value and respect your possessions period. I love the Pixel 6 pro, got a good deal with 256 storage, looks news, love the design and the cloudy white glass back. If you press you finger firmly on the finger print reader and hold for a second, it is almost 110 percen reliable. I really have not noticed any of the issues you speak of and after reading other comment a number of people have not either. I just hope you are being objective, and not really partial to samsung or a unwitting spokesperson, but I think you have more integrity than that from watching your reviews.
