This show had the potential to be a wonderful series with extraordinary lead and supporting actors. However, the show suffered from a fundamental flaw: the writers, producers and director(s) could not decide what genre they were creating. So they aimlessly wandered between producing an action series and an emotional drama filled with syrupy melodrama. The attempt at romance subplots flopped.

In the process, after the capture of Demiray, it’s as if the writers and showrunners had run out of steam and didn’t know where to take the show next. So, they wasted the talents of the lead characters, Mert Barca & MKC, and had them sitting idle engaging in small talk and meaningless policing campaigns in large portions of the subsequent episodes until the final operation against the “Professor”.

Secondly, this show didn’t know what to do with the women lead actors other than have them running around like helpless headless chicken only to make them defer to the men at the end of nearly every effort they made. As characters, Nilufer had the same weepy expression throughout, while Yagmur’s deadpan expression stayed the same. Zero range shown. The director did these women actors a huge disservice and wasted their talents.

When it came to the character of Mert Barca, the showrunners obviously wanted to capitalize on the onscreen sizzle that Ibrahim always brings to his action sequences that captivates audiences. And yet they made the outcomes of his heroic efforts fizzle out inexplicably. So we are left wondering why take the audience through such adrenaline pumping action with minimal outcomes for the villains? Something doesn’t add up. The show creators hugely undercut Ibo’s talents in this show.

MKC was arguably the only successfully crafted character in this show. He had believable complex depth, and a good balance between heroism and human vulnerability. Yet even Kerem’s talents were wasted just like Ibo’s.

The writers overused Kaan as an emotional crutch. They turned this lovable child character into a transition device, whipped out at every turn like punctuation marks, to tug at audience heartstrings. They did the young actor a disservice. A similar situation happened on the other end of the age spectrum with how Feridun was used as a character in this show.

Overall a potentially great show, marred by show creators’ and writers’ flawed decisions.

Police giren her kesin kimliyini, butun ailesini arasdirirlar ve sonra police ise gotururler,amma bu dizide boyle gorunuyor kimi geldi ise alirlar

Okay so this is an awesome TV series with two great actors, 🤣🤣 only problem is it's got a very disappointing ending! have to use your imagination to create a suitable ending for yourself...
