How to create an App Icon and Splash Screen for an Expo Project

The problem with android icons and default expo is that the resolution is low. Some android phone like the Google pixel scale up the app icon as a fade to the splash screen and the low res becomes apparent 😢

This video sucks. What was the result? A production app needs multiple different splash screens based on device theme, as well as different setups for android and iphone. for example, android will display the enlarged icon before opening the app. how do you handle that?

How to make it round corner on android devices?

@ExpoDevelopers I need help with the icon at expoGo, I followed exactly all the steps, I did the export, the splash screen works great, but in my iPhone, on the expoGo app, the app icon is not showing. Do you have any idea why? I'm afraid that I'll have the same issue if I do a dev build

Damn man, so adaptive is for Android and icon is for IOS?
I was breaking my head trying to find out why EAS was showing my app icon in Android.

Tried this method today for like the 10th time, and this time there is no Export button. There's just a big empty space where it used to be. Did they move it? ... EDIT: ok I found a way to export. I had to go to the Figma menu in top left > File menu, Export... > and it exported and downloaded the 3 files as a zip.
