I like how in real life we already have fusion reactors and exo suits just nowhere this level.

Ok ok ok… so like i played Halo as any other 90’s kid, but I kinda stopped around halo 2/3. But now as an adult who like all these concepts, it might just be time for me to get back into this. This lore is absolutely amazing and ahead of its time. Thank you for an enjoyable 30min of life.

Actually no full sets of armor didn't make you into a tank what they actually did was make it so that you were not mobile and it was easier for a more agile attacker to slip in between the plates of armor such as under your arm by your armpit or in between where the inside of your elbow would be or you know things like that and they would also shoot arrows or pierce with lances that were made for puncturing so it would be better if you got your facts right

You can't ever wireless broadcast that much energy without frying every living thing that doesn't have armor covering it.

I'm still mad that they got his height so drastically wrong in the TV show... He's supposed to be almost 9 feet in his armor and weigh half a ton...

On the fence for buying the Mjolnir armor or an H.E.V. Suit. Has anyone tried them both? What would you prefer?

Okay, so I was today-years old when I really thought about the fact that Johnson HELPED. CHIEF. UP. The Mjolnir VI weighs half a ton, and this so-called "baseline" Marine sergeant gives him a leg up. I knew there was something suspicious about "Johnson," if that is his true name. He bears a certain likeness to a certain Marine sergeant from a certain, unrelated universe involving aliens....

Bruh, you talk about fusion reactors as if they're the same as fission reactors in this video. If you want to tackle the scientific history behind this, you at least need to learn the terms. Even if it all is just fictional

The Spartans actually came after Mjolnir! When she originally tested the suits, the sheer power of the movements the suit could enhance literally tore apart it’s wearers. She needed supersoldiers to truly harness the armor

The lord of Halo makes me wonder what we’re really doing as a species or a people. What are we about other than currently trying to murder or control each other? The word progress gets used a lot but at best it’s the same shit different time. Russsians still out to conquer the same places. Middle East it’s still the same people fighting the same fight, in the same spot, with modern weapons. If an alien race swung by and asked what we were doing we’d be pressed to come up with an answer. Most of us.

At the very end it shows someone "Helping" John up off of the ground... And we all know the Spartan Armor weighs more than normal people can lift... So it feels to me that John accepted the help just to not be rude? He picked himself up. Nobody helped him. Still funny to watch and think about. (I think the suits weighed what? Half or a Full Ton? I don't remember.)

I tell ya, knowing how much protection those suits offer, would have me voluntarily signing up to be a Spartan.
...even if I'd have to be Gen 2. 😮‍💨
