I am 4'7". Long tunics make your legs look shorter so don't wear them. Also, the high heels look awful. Pointed toe shoes look better than rounded toes.

Please add plus size petite clothing to your shop.. Can't find any dresses there for a 43 inch bust.

What if you’re short and fat, and have a bad back? Meaning, I’ve had back surgery and my back doesn’t have the proper curvature, which in turn, means my curves go outward and my back is basically flat with a flat butt. I also have a short torso. I’m 5’1” and about 190 pounds.

hmm all those outfits still dont look appealing. why spend money on clothes if your priority nr1 should be loosing weight? besides loosig weight even doesnt cost money. i would even go that far that loosing weight actually saves you money as you buy less food.

I was attracted to this video because it used the word "chubby" in the title. That signalled, to me, that this would be a practical video and it would be keeping it real for women like me.
I used to have an hour glass figure, before I went through the menopause during lockdown. Now my very defined waist has gone and an apron stomach has taken its place. My curves have all joined up and morphed into one big blob!
I felt that I should just cover up and forget about wearing feminine clothes, so this was really helpful. Thank you.

It's really helpful to see this kind of advice modeled by someone who it applies to! I've seen so many style tips and tricks articles and videos where the model is actually much slimmer than the people the advice is meant for, which makes it hard to tell if the outfit suggestions worked or if it's just that the model is thinner

What about tennis shoes? I’m an elementary teacher and of course I will not be wearing heels.

Great idea for special occasions, but as a fat girl, dresses are a no go as my thighs rub and chafe. Heels are also not practical everyday wear. Who really wears heels and dresses when going food shopping, or walking the dog? 😂 Try again skinny girl.

Well that's odd. The website posted in the links of the video has no clothing 16P or 1X. The largest I saw on the website was a 14 and even the size chart didn't go beyond a 14. But the woman modeling in this video is clearly larger than a 14. She looks the same as me at a 16. It's too bad because I was really excited to order from the website since the video was geared more towards short plus size. 16PS is the lower end of plus size.

Some of these suggestions are rally good but you will never catch me wearing a dress. I hate wearing dresses, especially if they are long A-line dresses, matronly big time.

Nice, but can you make one with a short chubby model with small shoulders, not huge; and big bust and butt? This model is an “apple”; and very flat with no curves in the butt, not a curvy hourglass.

Needed: chubby, old, short with heavy legs! She has slim calves and can show off her legs; not all of us can!

My favorite look for her is the skinny jeans and strappy nude sandals. I also like the blue floral dress and the long green one. You found a lot of good looks for her.

Wait a minute! Let's face facts. You are saying 'curvy' to avoid saying 'overweight'. We can't do anything about our height but we can certainly change our weight. Instead of trying to hide the bulges we can spend our energy on learning to eat better so we can look better. I know this because I lost 50 pounds and got to a healthy BMI by eating less and cutting out sugar and carbs. Now clothes are not a problem but a pleasure.

Also I think if you are dressed in one color adding a scarf that just hangs around your neck and hangs straight down makes the eye go down and gives the illusion of height.

As someone who is 5'1/2" (5'0" according to my driver's license and 5'1" according to the Dr.) I wish that clothing stores would take into account that their clothes are not made for short people and it makes it hard to buy clothes that are going to flatter the shorter and more curvy body. I buy capris because they actually fit me like regular pants. If I buy jeans that say petite, I have to hem them up because they are still to long on me. Thank you for sharing how to dress a short curvy woman, but please share this with the clothes makers, that don't use plus size models who are shorter.
