TMJ, with Reduction

I once woke up with my mouth hanging open after a very stressful day, but when i try to close it, it wont budge lmao. I panicked and forced it to close, it was VERY painful. Now my jaw clicks everytime i chew, it hurts occasionally especially immediately after waking up.

i had this issue, and normal dentist couldn't fix it and actually made it worse and mouth opening had reduced to 21mm.
Finally found and went to a tmj specialist , it was expensive and took some patience in the initial weeks but its resolved now.
treatment was done in two phases
phase 1: had to wear splint for 6 months which reduces pressure on the joints and other symptoms.
phase 2 : ortho trearment with braces for 1-2 years which changes bite that reduces tension on the tmj joint permanently.

Mainly this issue was caused because i clench my teeth a lot so i just wear a small mouthguard while sleeping.

Ive had this ever since i hit myself harder than anyones ever hit me lmao.. dont do this, people.

Literally can't eat or open my without this happening, since braces, occasionally very painful.

I feel like I might have this issue, when I open my mouth wide enough, It feels like I’m unhinging my jaw to open it wider, it’s never bothered me tho.

Solution stop fully opening your mouth for 2 months, resist the yawning by small yawning. 😦. It will automatically strengthen muscles. For assymetry of jaw do the exercises shown in other channels.

What will happen by doing this exercise?🤔🤔🤔

Had this problem ever since I had braces as a kid. I would love to get rid of it lol. Very miserable disorder
