How do they adjust ? Need to loosen the bolt and adjust or easy to adjust on the fly ?

I have a 2015 Special with rear pegs. I’m guessing that this doesn’t work with pegs.

I have a 2017 ultra limited and I want to keep my stock foot boards but you can not slid your mount down, there are only 2 mounting holes. unless you can mount this to the top bolt over the OEM mount this will not work on 2017 and later Limited's if you want to keep the stock boards.

Which floorboards you have there on the SG?
