Don't forget that having a greater team role player enhances growth of younger teammates, like if you have Messi or Ronaldo as Legend status, and having them as captain can greatly enhance development of younger players :)

i remember in pes 2018 younger players can develop faster twice. for example i signed hachim mastour to fulham and during the 5 seasons spend with the club he grow from 66 to 85

I’d rather just stick them in the first team and let them get a few games under their belts. Especially if you have no funds.

If you have a player who's team role (e.g. risk taker) helps team mates gain more experience points, does that player need to be playing or on the bench for his impact to be effective? Or will he still influence other players while he's part of the squad but not getting picked for games? I have a lots of younger players which high potential and hoping to boost their growth by buying in older players with team roles that help with growth but I don't want to play them if possible otherwise my younger players won't get many games in. could we buy in players with training effects? I've bought some bandiera from other teams and upo arrival they have been downgraded to just key players.

Why did you not go into what the purple bars are on the development page?! What do we do to speed up improvement?! Playing Legends alongside them? Why don't you talk about what to do to get someone's arrow to turn green? These are the details more involved players of PES want.

No m8, I made a beast from Hernandes, just to try, so AI was on beginner, player had blue arrow in that 10 or more matches I scored every game 3 goals at the end he was 8 8,5 9 rated per game. He jumped +3. So there is a reason to play that player well when he have that arrow.
Better rate, more he develop. Try out. :)

I disagree with the last part about how well they have to play, it definetly matters. I've had the flashing arrow with a keeper, and because it's so hard to "play well" with them (get a high match grade), he only went up from 86 to 87. But with a striker I got 3+ goals every game and nearly every time a 8.5 or higher match grade, and he went up from 80 to 84.

The thing is, this "flashing arrow" has been so nerfed this year. You used to get at least 4 players with it each season, now you're lucky if you get 2. Also the amount of progession you can achieve has gone down, previously you could get up to 6 overalls higher if you played well enough, now it's between 1-3 or maybe 4

Does anyone know if simming the game in coach mode increases the player rating ?

Sometimes a player will show promise but has fatigue, does the player get less XP if I play him in the 2nd half?

If you skip a match will the players develop the same as coach mode?

When the player performs really well for these ten matches he'll get a much better + to his OVR

Still he's stuck at 76 which i don't like about Pes

Before I accept the loan deal to send my player, I go to team info and check out that teams squad. If they have too many players in my player's position or way higher rated players than my player, then he most likely won't get game time.

No matter how many clean sheets you keep, your defenders are almost always rated 5.0 or 4.5 after the game. Meanwhile, AI's defenders (having allowed 5, 6 or more goals) all get rated 6.0. HOW???? PES 2020 match ratings are SO STUPID.

Man I swear, pes 2020 is unplayable since the new data pack and with the football worldwide stop for the Virus, we won't ever see any changes maybe. The game was good until mid February, for god sake Konami! Someone should let them know we want the good gameplay back...
Thank god I still have my edited pes 18 as last resource, but damn it would be just sad. This is the first pes since 15 years of playing that is completely ruined in this state. I might go to the dark side (Fifa) for the first time ever if Konami doesn't fix this mess!

I have had trouble understanding the negative effects of skipping games. I know that players' tactics don't update when you skip the match, but I feel like experience still changes.

No, not true. Put your game difficulty on low/ amateur.
Score every game minimum 4 times he will get 8,5 9.
He will develop more then if he get 6.5, 7, 7.5. Done it back there in pes 2017, 2018 was crazy with often boosts.
